THE BUREAU WELCOMES NEWLY EMPLOYED PROCUREMENT OFFICERS:

The Director-General, Due Process Bureau, Mr Aaron Timiye accmpanied by other senior management staff met with the newly employed Procurement Officers on Tuesday, 23rd of September 2025.

Mr Timiye welcomed them and introductions were made. He spoke on the important documents that the new staff must acquaint themselves with while in service, and also with the required Professional Exams needed for their Career development.

Additionally, he emphasized the importance of Punctuality and avoiding misconducts.

The new employees will be subsequently deployed to various MDAs for duty performance.

The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau held its monthly Thanksgiving Service on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the Bureau’s Conference Hall. The event brought together staff and guests for a moment of gratitude, reflection, and celebration, with special recognition given to staff members born in the month of August.
Delivering the sermon, Mrs Agnes Oloye spoke on the theme “the Renew Mind,” drawing insights from Rom 12:1–2, Proverb 7:21, and Act20:32, Heb 12:15 He stressed the importance of a personal relationship with God, encouraging everyone to seek divine guidance directly rather than relying solely on others. Mrs, Agnes Oloye message inspired the audience to deepen their individual faith journeys. He also led a special prayer session for the celebrants.
Engr Denyefa judge Aaron of Technical Services, proposed a toast in honour of the celebrants, which was followed by the ceremonial cutting of the birthday cake.
In a gesture of goodwill, the Director-General Mr Timiye N. Aaron presented gifts to the celebrants, Directors, Heads of Departments, and other staff and guests present. The Thanksgiving Service reaffirmed the Bureau’s commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation, unity, and shared purpose among its workforce.

The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau hosted its monthly Thanksgiving Service on Monday, July 28th, 2005, at the Bureau’s Conference Hall, welcoming attendees for a time of gratitude, reflection, and celebration. A key feature of the event was the honoring of staff members born in July.

Pastor Henry Prenanagha delivered an uplifting message centered on the theme "Knowing God for Yourself." Drawing from
John 10:27-28,
Matthew 7:21, and
Daniel 11:32, he highlighted the significance of a personal relationship with God, emphasizing that He interacts with each of us individually, and we can receive guidance directly from Him, rather than depending solely on others, to build our strength. Pastor Henry Prenanagha everyone to cultivate a personal connection with God. Following the sermon, Pastor Henry Prenanagha led prayers for the celebrants, and Mr. Atotu Anthony then proposed a ceremonial toast. The celebration continued with the cutting of a cake to mark the occasion.

To commemorate the event, the Director-General presented gifts to the celebrants, Directors, Heads of Departments, staff, and all well-wishers in attendance. The Thanksgiving Service reinforced the Bureau’s dedication to cultivating a culture of appreciation and unity among its staff, thereby strengthening the values of gratitude and togetherness within the organization.

The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau held its Mid-Year Thanksgiving Service on June 30, 2025, at the Bureau’s Conference Hall in the Due Process Building, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The event provided an opportunity for the Bureau to reflect on its achievements over the past year and to express gratitude to God. The service was officiated by Pastor Zekieni Yelebe, who delivered a heartfelt message centered on thanksgiving. Drawing from Psalms 103:5, 100:3–5, and 107:23, Pastor Yelebe highlighted the importance of acknowledging God’s goodness—emphasizing that we give thanks because God made and sustains us, and continually delivers us from harm. He reminded attendees that only the living can praise God and encouraged various expressions of gratitude, including singing, dancing, and choir ministrations that lifted the atmosphere in worship.

Following the sermon, Pastor Yelebe led prayers for those being celebrated. A toast was delivered by Mr. Josiah Onyesi.

In addition to the Thanksgiving, staff members born in the month of June were specially recognized. A cake-cutting ceremony was held in their honor, and Director Richard Afenfia presented gifts to the celebrants. The event concluded with a group photograph featuring the directors, heads of departments, special guests, and staff of the Bureau.

The Bayelsa State Due Process Bureau today joined a delegation from Bayelsa State to inspect ongoing boat repairs being carried out by the State Government at the Naval Shipyard Limited in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The Due Process Bureau’s team was led by its Director of Technical Services, Qs. Anthony Atotu, while the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy was represented by its Commissioner, Dr. Faith Izibenua Zibbs-Godwin.

The delegation was warmly received by the Admiral Superintendent of the Naval Shipyard, Rear Admiral E. E. Ebe.
The team was briefed on the repair work done so far in the Naval Conference Hall before a tour of the facility explaining and sighting the progress and scope of the over 40% work done so far.
