SA POLITICAL II CHARGES BAYELSANS TO EMBRACE SKILLS ACQUISITION.

The Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State on Political Matters II Hon. Chief Gabriel Michael Ogbara charged Bayelsans to embrace skills as a sure means of employment and wealth creation.
The Ogbia Born Politician and Businessman made the charge in a graduation event of the Students of Catering Department, The International Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, Yenagoa.
Hon. Ogbara while speaking as a Special Guest, Congratulated the graduands and charged them to make good use of the skills acquired by them to create employment and wealth.
He said citizens don't have to always depend solely on government for everything and that people can also easily create wealth and become employers of Labour through the acquisition of Skills.
He added by saying the graduands can do so by establishing their own Catering Services and Restaurants.
The Political Adviser II to the Governor of Bayelsa State who have always been very passionate in human capacity building in Bayelsa, seized the avenue to commend Prof. A R Arikawei and his management for the significant improvement made in the Institution.
The former Bayelsa State Law Maker said he was amazed by what he saw in the Institute and that he was much impressed.
Other dignitaries who were at the event are; Prof. A R Arikawei, Rector, The International Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, Yenagoa, Dr. Ovienadu Torutein, Registrar, Hon. Asari Timipre Kerry, Technical Adviser on Youth Mobilization to the Governor of Bayelsa State, High Chief Fortune Livingston, Second Deputy Paramount Ruler, Elebele Town among others.
The Bayelsa grassroot Leader went further to appeal to other leaders in the State to enroll more persons in the Institution as a channel of job creation for Bayelsans aside government who cannot practically absorbed everyone even as he pledged to sponsor some of his followers in various programs undertaken by the Institute.
