*The Anomalous Political Recognition: A Big Slap On The Faces Of Tinubu's Loyalists, Who Saw Today's Political Reality since 2019*
*Dear Mr. President Sir,*
with all due respect and total loyalty, Sir. I write this open letter as a show of concern for the current unmotivated political situation of the APC support GROUPS.
Mr. President sir, I would like to bring to your notice that all your support GROUPS are not happy, people are mocking us, opposition are making jest of us that we have been sidelined from the government we brought to power, it is part of our loyalty to let you know when things are not all going fine in our midst.
Today, many people who truly worked for your victory are currently nowhere in government, under your administration.
This is not your design for support groups, we know your track record of reward and recognition, we Know your true wishes for your followers, we need your assistance now to step in and save support groups from isolation and abandonment.
Mr. President, sir, if hard work and loyalty go unrewarded, then undeserved appointments will ultimately kill the pride of our people and erode the political will and morale of every loyal party, men, and women.
How did we get to this point where the people that contributed almost nothing are given appointments on a platter of gold, some of them from another Party, some people who have not even finished their mandatory one year NYSC, but are given appointment and recognition, while loyalty and hard work go unappreciated and unrewarded? Where were these people when the likes of *Senator GOS, Hon. AMINU Suleiman, Hajia Safaa, Hon. Folu Ibirinde, Dahiru Hamanddiko, Hon. Rev. Abayomi Adeleye in UK, Hon. Segun Olulade Etc..* are working hard to strengthen the support group campaign for Asiwaju all over the world?. The amount of efforts that support groups contributed to Asiwaju 2023 without collecting ₦1 from anybody was absolutely unparalleled
Mr. President, with the appointment so far, sir, support groups have been neglected, felt abandoned, and unmotivated. We want some appointees who know and care about support groups to be considered for appointments under your administration.
Mr President sir, we campaigned and Nigerians voted for you with the belief that the Nigerian political institutions and party reward system is going to get better or be the best in Africa if not in the world, under you.
Some of us started campaigning for you since 2019 when you came out publicly and said it was too early to be talking about 2023.
When distinguished Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, now our first lady clearly told us we should allow Buhari to enjoy his term in office, then it was only Seyi Tinubu *ST* and Sen. Gani Solomon *GOS* who accepted and encouraged us. For four years, we campaigned for you because we were very confident in your model of democracy which assumes a central core of normative politics of right political recognition.
Support Groups that worked tirelessly for Bola Tinubu 2023 victory, all of us strongly believe that you are the most qualified for the Number 1 position, we all strongly believe that you have wealth of political experience to move Nigeria forward, we also believe you will unite Nigeria and make our country safer.
Finally, our best selling point was that you are the only politician in Nigeria we can trust that would not abandon us and reward loyalty, unlike used and drop politicians we used to know.
Mr. President, sir, what your support groups are getting today is a clear deviation from this ideal model of your philosophy of right political recognition, as the question of reward and recognition for the genuine support groups that made this victory possible remain unanswered.
Mr. President, sir, we understand the task at hand is enormous, but you have the capacity, and it is not too big for you to handle.
Your excellency sir, you need us, your true loyalists around you to contribute to the success of your government now than before, we are the people that took bullet for you when the naysayers were wishing you dead and spreading so many malicious fake news.
We are the only people you can trust for your success. We have paid the price for these days, some have died, some have spent their fortunes, myself as an example, Nstadom Agro-Allied Farm Investment was looted and burnt down during ENDSARS because they thought Asiwaju gave us the money for the business, we had to jump fence for our lives, and meanwhile we have never collected 1 kobo from Asiwaju.
We know those who worked for APC and Asiwaju victory day and night, before and after the primary elections. These people who represent support groups should be rewarded. People like:
1) H.E Silas A Agara, the National Coordinator of ICC, ICC, is definitely bigger than PCC and covered grassroots than any campaign council in contemporary Nigeria political history. ICC has 3-5 representatives in every polling unit in NIGERIA. Some of our people we were at ICC working day and night collating names and other details of our members across Nigeria 5 weeks to general election. Reaching out to them until 2 days to the D-day.
There is no justification for PCC members to be rewarded with ministerial appointments and left out ICC National Coordinator leadership with no appointment. We urge Asiwaju to look into this as a matter of national necessity, ICC must not be cheated also in the Board appointment.
2) Hon. Aminu Suleiman of TSO, Hon. Suleima is one of the pioneers of BAT2023 and NO1 Asiwaju loyalists I know. This is a man who genuinely offered to support the BATIC national press conference with up to 10m in 2020. But we snubbed him for the sugar-coated trap of TSG and got scammed with empty assurance. This man is genuine, and he was everywhere for asiwaju. He deserve to be appointed first before many of these unknown people..
3) Hajiya Safaa Adam, there are no Support Group members in Nigeria that do not know her. She worked day and night as Dir. Admin TSG, she worked as Secretary ICC and Secretary of Presidential strategic committee PSC and D.G of AWCN, National woman, leader of many support groups in APC.
There is no woman in APC who worked more than HAJIYA SAFAA and we the support groups caucus strongly endorse her for a well befitted position where she can contribute to the success of Asiwaju. He deserve to be appointed.
4) Hon. Adeogun of COASUG, I don’t know where to start on Hon. Adeogun support Group activities all over Nigeria, he is an embodiment of total dedication, this man is also genuine and everywhere for Asiwaju and always ready for support group. He deserve to be appointed.
Mr. President, sir, it is unacceptable to all your support groups when qualified loyalists are being sidelined and those without NYSC certificates and PDP members are getting recognition under the government some of our members have died for.
Mr. President, sir, it is so worrisome today seeing those people who worked for your victory nowhere to be found in your government.
We believe there is a serious need to reward and incentivize loyal supporters, and you need to be responsive to support groups, sir.
Mr President Sir, we are not against anybody’s appointment. We are only asking for justice for Support groups because it is regarded as pure political anomalous in democracy when few gullible anti progressive minority with no political structure, people who contributed almost nothing to our electoral victory are the ones having their way in the democratic government we brought to power. Appointing support groups leaders that merited it is not about money but our right and opportunity to be part of the change we want to see in Nigeria, we worked so hard for it, we are qualified for it and it will give us a unique opportunity to advance the cause of RENEWED HOPE that we truly believe in.
