Today, we responded directly to the threats issued months ago by the ijaws specifically by Gbenekama and the fresh threats made by Victor Okumagba just days ago. We made it crystal clear: We are fully ready for them. Now they are shamelessly twisting the narrative, pretending as if they never threatened us first.

Video evidence from their press conference few days ago shows Victor Okumagba openly threatening to burn down Warri, Delta State, and even Nigeria if INEC refuses to implement the fraudulent ward delineation that would hand Itsekiri political power over to them. He called President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR a chicken and declared that they will no longer cooperate with the NSA and DSS investigation into who truly owns Warri and the fraud committed by INEC.

This is because neither the Urhobos nor the Ijaws could produce any credible evidence to support their claims of ownership, while the Itsekiri presented a large arsenal of historical and legal evidence proving ownership of these areas.

Victor Okumagba, who lives comfortably in Udu LGA, is busy inciting chaos in Warri from a distance. The last time we clashed with the Okumagba people, the fight known as “Okumagba biggest regret” they ran to the state government crying, claiming up to 200 of their own dead. They admitted their mercenaries were completely neutralized by Itsekiri defenders in 2000 and 2004. Yet here they are again, still looking for war. Clearly, they haven’t learnt their lessons.

We are not afraid of war. We have fought before and won. If it takes defending our ancestral lands against these criminals and tenants, we are more than ready. Let them come. We will be waiting.

Her Majesty, Olori Atuwatse III, Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom, has lent her voice to the growing call for the safe return of the children kidnapped in Oyo State.

In a heartfelt statement, Her Majesty expressed deep concern over the tragic incident, particularly the fact that some of the victims are toddlers as young as two and three years old. She also extended her condolences to the family of Michael Oyedokun, the dedicated teacher who lost his life in the course of shaping and protecting young minds.

Calling for prayers, compassion, and collective action, Her Majesty urged Nigerians not to become desensitized to the pain and suffering caused by such tragedies. She emphasized the need for continued hope, support for affected families, wisdom for leaders, and an unwavering commitment to securing the release of every child still in captivity.

In her official Instagram account, Her Majesty wrote:

“Among the children kidnapped in Oyo State were toddlers. A 3-year-old. A 2-year-old. Let that sink in for a moment.

Who speaks for the land when it groans? Who speaks for the people when their children are still missing?

My heart is with the families of every child still in captivity, and with those mourning Michael Oyedokun, a teacher whose dedication to shaping young minds ultimately cost him his life. Behind every headline is a child, a family, and a future worth fighting for.

Today, I pray for the children still in captivity, for strength for their families, wisdom for our leaders, and healing for our nation. May we never become so accustomed to tragedy that we stop feeling its weight, or so familiar with sorrow that we cease to act.

Until every child is home, we will remember. We will pray. We will hope.”

Her Majesty’s message serves as a powerful reminder that behind every headline are innocent children, grieving families, and communities yearning for justice, safety, and hope. The Kingdom of Warri joins all well-meaning Nigerians in praying for the safe return of the children still in captivity and for comfort and strength for all those affected by this tragedy.

Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III, the Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom, Unveils Her Book “Redemption: An African Queen’s Story on Identity, Faith and Impact”

Her Majesty, Olori Atuwatse III, has announced the release of her deeply personal coffee-table book, Redemption: An African Queen’s Story on Identity, Faith and Impact — a powerful reflection on faith, transformation, leadership, service, and God’s unfailing grace.

In a post on her official Instagram account, Her Majesty said:

“There are moments in life when everything changes at once.

Moments when grief and glory stand side by side.

In 2021, within the space of a few months, I lost my father and stepped into the throne as Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom. One season taught me how to mourn deeply; the other taught me how to stand carrying weight, responsibility, and purpose far greater than myself.

Somewhere between both seasons, God began the work of transforming me from the inside out.

He confronted old fears, hidden wounds, false identities, and silent burdens. He taught me that purpose is sustained by surrender and obedience.

As the years unfolded, I began to notice something extraordinary.

Through my annual portrait sessions captured by Henry Oji, stories were being told before they were lived. What seemed like creative direction slowly revealed itself as prophecy. Each image carried the weight of seasons yet to come; seasons of stretching, service, impact, leadership, and divine assignment.

The story unfolded in classrooms, communities, conversations, and in the lives of women, children, families, and young people reached through the work of the Royal Iwere Foundation and Elevate Africa.

What God was doing within me was becoming visible through service to others.

And that is how Redemption: An African Queen’s Story on Identity, Faith and Impact was born.

This coffee-table book is a deeply personal documentation of transformation, faith, leadership, and purpose. It is a visual testimony of God’s faithfulness through five defining years of my life, told through prophetic portraiture and moments of impact across communities and nations.
