The U3 Crusaders for Ahwinahwi/ U3 Crusaders for Good Governance with both Nigeria and Scotland Chapters once again demonstrated their growing grassroots strength and political cohesion as they turned out in full force at the traditional marriage ceremony of Miss Ogheneochuko Stephanie Ejoh and Mr. Oghenerume Emmanuel Oviri, held at Oha Town in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.
Mr. Oghenerume Emmanuel Oviri is the son of Olorogun Okiemute Oviri Okwagbe, JP, a prominent APC leader and grassroots mobilizer in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Executive Assistant (EA) on Special Duties and Community Development to the Governor of Delta State and a Board member of the group. His longstanding role in grassroots mobilization and community development was evident in the calibre of personalities present at the occasion. The well-orchestrated event attracted key political and business stakeholders across Delta State, reinforcing unity, continuity, and inclusive leadership.
The ceremony attracted top government officials, with the Delta State Governor highly represented. Also in attendance were the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, his Deputy Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, and Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly, senior political leaders, and key stakeholders.
Adding political weight to the ceremony was Hon. Solomon U. Ahwinahwi, two-time House of Representatives member, who attended with his son Engr. Leroy Ahwinahwi, political associates, and the U3 Crusaders for Ahwinahwi/U3 Crusaders For Good Governance Nigeria/Scotland Chapters. Their coordinated presence highlighted loyalty to his vision and reinforced bonds of political brotherhood with the groom’s family.
Other bigwigs that attended includes Olorogun Bar. Fred Okiemute Majemite, Olorogun Jite Brown, Chief (Barr.) Andrew Orugbo, Hon. Festus Utuama, commissioners, heads of boards and agencies, and other notable political stakeholders, reaffirming the event as a convergence point for leadership and governance in Delta State.
Barrister Emovakpor while speaking on behalf of the group, emphasized the group’s commitment to disciplined political engagement, grassroots empowerment, and sustained support for credible leadership. He specially acknowledged the initiator and Pillar Engr. Christian Nduka and his wife Mrs. Angela Ejiro Nduka, for their support for the political pressure group, praising their consistency, leadership, and belief in the group’s mission. He also conveyed the goodwill message, prayers, and best wishes of Mrs Angela Ejiro Nduka to the newly married couple and formally presented the gift sent by her as a symbol of solidarity and shared values.
