ADC Launches Nationwide Membership Revalidation, Inaugurates MRMR Committee to Strengthen the Party Ahead of 2027 Elections

The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, has inaugurated the Chairman and members of the Party’s Membership, Revalidation, Mobilization and Registration (MRMR) Committee, including Mallam Jibril Sabo Keana (JSK) of Nasarawa State.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the Conference Hall of the ADC National Headquarters, Abuja, and was attended by members of the National Working Committee (NWC), party leaders, and other key stakeholders.
While administering the oath of office, Senator Mark charged the committee members to discharge their responsibilities with fairness, diligence, and a high sense of responsibility, emphasizing the strategic importance of the committee’s mandate to the growth and consolidation of the party. He further directed the committee to complete its assignment within thirty (30) days and submit a comprehensive report to the party leadership.
He also stated that the committee’s work would energize ADC’s grassroots base, deepen its democratic culture, and prepare the party for future political challenges and opportunities, adding that the MRMR initiative reflects the party’s commitment to leadership and democratic governance.
The MRMR Membership Card
The unique MRMR card will serve as a membership verification and empowerment tool, ensuring that every member is:
Validated – Confirming their official membership status
Mobilized – Engaged and informed about party activities
Empowered – Equipped to actively participate in grassroots politics
This card strengthens ADC’s grassroots structure nationwide and represents a strategic step in preparing for the 2027 elections.
In his acceptance remarks, the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Kashim Imam, expressed appreciation to the National Chairman and ADC leadership for the confidence reposed in the committee. He assured that members would work assiduously to deliver on their mandate within the stipulated timeframe.
