For I have a very strong conviction that God Almighty allows things to happen for specific purposes and always at the right time.

I am also of the firm believe as a Christian that our destiny firms on God's resolution as he wishes.

Therefore,permit me to express my deepest gratitude to God for granting me the privilege of coming thus far in my life.This moment I so cherish and return thanks to him for a smooth and interesting journey towards the actualization of a dream I had for my people.

To the Leader of our party in the state and Executive Governor,Rt.Hon.Dr.Simon Bako Lalong,KSGG who played a fatherly role by ensuring a level playing ground was provided for us all,I say a very big thank you and reaffirm my commitment to supporting your administration.

I had a team that was so determined to see this dream come true.You worked day and night and under every kind of pressure to deliver this mandate as such I am using this medium to thank you for this sacrifice assuring you that this bond remains.

May I also thank our great party the All Progressives Congress,APC on whose platform I sought to actualize my dream for the rare privilege which has further opened my eyes to a greater part of the world and pledge my unflinching loyalty as a party man.

RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT FOR JOS/BASSA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY AND PANKSHIN SOUTH BYE-ELECTIONS.

In line with the plans by the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct bye-election for the Jos/Bassa Federal Constituency and the Pankshin South State Constituency on 26th February 2022, the Executive Governor of Plateau State has approved the restriction of movement within the respective constituencies.

Therefore, all vehicular movements will not be allowed in the affected areas from 12:00 Midnight of Friday 25th February 2022 to 6pm of Saturday 26th February 2022.

Only persons on essential duties will be exempted from the restriction. Citizens are advised to adhere to this directive as relevant security agencies have been directed to ensure compliance.

The Governor also calls on all eligible voters to come out and exercise their franchise without fear or intimidation as necessary security arrangements have been put in place to ensure that the exercise goes without hitches.

AKU'S ACHIEVEMENTS IN PUBLIC OFFICES (Shabul Mazadu)
Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe said, "I regard politics as synonymous to public service buttressed by a sincere desire to make life in this country worthwhile for all who live within its borders."
Chief Obafemi Awolowo said, "The aim of a leader should be the welfare of the people whom he leads."
Political elective or appointive office holders, who understand the true concept of politics in line with Zik and Awolowo, try their best to improve the wellbeing of the people they represent irrespective of the magnitude, nature and scope of the office they occupy.
Aside from the membership of many boards, the House of Representatives candidate for Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Abbey Aku, has held two major offices in his political odyssey, and left behind some remarkable footprints.
Under the Dariye led administration, Aku was a councilor representing Tudun Wada/Kabong. As councilor which most citizens feel there was nothing to offer, Aku sponsored a bill on Environmental Sanitation which was passed into law in Jos North Local Government Council. This law, was later on replicated in some local government councils via emulation by their councilors.
As Commissioner of Commerce and Industry, Abbey saw the need that the Brewery Agro Research Company, BARC, farms consisting of over 4,000 hectares of land laying waste, should be recouped from Murtala Nyako who purchased it, and be put back into good use by Plateau State Government instead of laying wastefully.
The BARC Farms which used to be one of the prides of Plateau State, became a cause of concern for most citizens of the state who hoped and prayed that it will one day be put to good use. The prayer was answered by Abbey becoming the Commissioner of Commerce and Industry. He swiftly facilitated the real purchase of the BARC Farms. And today, it is the property of Plateau State Government. This move of his, has
