This morning, I had the honor of joining the esteemed Comrade Kayode Opeifa as a special guest at the Lagos State Secondary School Handball Competitions, which kicked off today at the Rowe Park Sports Complex in Yaba. The 7th edition of this prestigious event is bringing together an impressive 120 schools from across the state, showcasing the talents of young athletes and promoting sports development in our great state. I commend Comrade Kayode Opeifa for his unwavering commitment to promoting education and sports development among our youth. I wish all the participating schools the best of luck and look forward to seeing the next generation of sports stars in action.

The Mandate Movement,TMM, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Rallies for Unity, Development, and Voter Mobilization

The Mandate Movement, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, yesterday , Friday, the 3rd, October, 2025 held its general meeting at Fagbola Street, Shogunle, with members and party stakeholders in attendance.

The meeting opened with a minute of silence for the late Hon. Wale Adelana, a respected leader of the group, as prayers, were offered for his soul and family.

In his address, a frontline leader of the APC in Oshodi and the apex leader of the Mandate Movement in the Local Government Comrade Dele Ogunshakin urged members to work in harmony and sustain support for the administration of Otunba Kehinde Oloyede, He stressed the importance of the ongoing voter registration exercise, calling on members to mobilize their wards to strengthen the APC’s electoral base.

The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof represented by APC LGA Chairman Hon. Saheed Animashaun and Chief of Staff Hon. Leke Banjoko sent his goodwill message, apologized for his absence due to official engagements. He reassured the group of his commitment to inclusive governance and pledged more development projects in his second term while urging party members to unite ahead of the party congress and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign.

Other speakers, included Hon. Adebanji Atewogboye Gbeleyi Skibanj, SSA to the Lagos State Governor, Apc State Exco Hon. Isreal Akiode and Comrade Dele Ogundipe echoed the call for loyalty to the Ogunshakin (TTM) mandate leadership and support for Oloyede’s administration

The event was well attended by party leaders, including Alhaji Malik, Hon. Oladipupo Abiola, Alhaja Kasali, Mr.Rapheal Edozie, Hon.Ibukun Ben Idowu, Alhaji Ololade Olowokere, Hon. Dele Tomori, Lai Opanusi , and all ward chairmen of the Mandate Movement in Oshodi-Isolo.
