Halartar gaisuwar TA'AZIYAR rashin yan uwa da akayi a agarin Silame local Government.

Mai girma ɗan majalisar dokokin kasar Nigeria wato Honorable Mani Maishinko Katami mai wakiltar kananan hukumomi na Binji da silame yakai TA'AZIYA agarin silame domin jajantawa wa'yanda s**a rigamu gidan gaskiya. Kaman yadda zaku gani cikin hotuna, yakai gaisuwar TA'AZIYAR a yau garin silame. Yayi jawabin cewa munyi rashin mutanen hulda da kuma yan'uwan zamantakewa acikin harkokin yau da kullum. ALLAH yayi musu rahama cikin rahamarsa Amin.

Acikin hotunan akwai rakkiyar chiyamomin party da suda sakatarorinsu kana tare da tsohon chiyamomin na karanamar hukumar ta silame Alh. Muhammad Bello Gumki walin silame.

My trip to Katsina today also afforded me the opportunity to pay my condolences to the family of my late friend and associate, Alhaji Lawal Kaita, over the loss of the matriarch of the family, Hajiya Yalwa Kaita, where I was received by the Governor of Katsina, Dikko Umar Radda. I also paid courtesy visits to the Emir of Katsina, HRH Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, and the Emir of Daura, HRH Alhaji Farouk Umar Farouk. -AA

PDP Governors’ Forum Congratulates Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori On His 61st Birthday

The Peoples Democratic Party Governor's Forum, PDPGF, under the chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed , CON, and Governor of Bauchi State,
on behalf of all member Governors, heartily celebrates H.E, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori , the Governor of Delta State on this special day, as he turns 61 years.

The Forum joins his family, friends and indeed all Deltans, home and abroad, to give all thanks to the Almighty God for his life, protection, sound health and endless grace, among others.

Not too long ago, we had joined him at Thanksgiving on his first anniversary in office for the wisdom and capacity to lead all Deltans at his best.

Obviously, his experience at the State Legislature as Honourable Speaker for six years (2017-2023) surely counted.

In that same spirit, the Forum is bold to say that he has achieved several notable milestones within this time in Infrastructure Development including flood control measures, Education at all levels, Security, Healthcare, SME funding, Sports development and consolidation, Workers' capacity enhancement and improved welfare where he ensured the payment of N5.5 billion in promotion arrears, firmly making a difference for the people he serves, among other things.

He has initiated employment opportunities into the State Primary Schools to elevate the education standard; as well as expanded the State Health Insurance Scheme, making healthcare more accessible to non-government workers through a modest annual contribution.

His philanthropic works equally speak volume that he is a father to all Deltans having provided scholarships to indigenes and non-indigenes under the Oborevwori Foundation Scholarship Scheme; and Entrepreneurship Support/Empowerment endeavours to support petty traders, market women and artisans over time

The Forum prays that God will grant him necessary wisdom and humility as he fully settles down to serve the State and people and indeed the country at large.

We assure him of our unalloyed support and solidarity always.
