Yobe Gather For Barr. Umar Ibrahim Gaidam and Asma'u In Abuja

Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN, along with other high ranking personalities of Yobe extraction were today at the Police Headquarters Mosque to witness the wedding Fatiha of Barr. Umar Ibrahim Gaidam, son of Police Affairs Minister, Sen. Ibrahim Gaidam and his heartthrob, Asmau Ibrahim Wamba.

Gov. Buni received the bride on behalf of the groom after payment of dowry to solidify the marriage.

In attendance were the father of the groom Sen. Ibrahim Gaidam, former Senate President Ahmad lbrahim Lawan, Police Inspector General, Tunji Disu, politicians, public officers, government officials and prominent sons of the state.

Prayers were offered to the new couples for a blessed and peaceful married life.

Prayers were also offered for improved security and peace across the country, as well as, successful general election, as Nigeria prepares for the general election.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Hajiya Mai Riga, the Yobe State APC Deputy Women Leader, who passed away two days ago after a brief illness.

Former Minister of Power, Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu, CON, FNSE, FNICE, has extended his condolences to the family, though he was unable to visit in person. His thoughts and prayers remain with them during this difficult time.

Hajiya Mai Riga was a devoted leader and a strong voice for women in Yobe State. Her dedication and service will be deeply missed.

May Allah have mercy on her soul, admit her into Jannatul Firdaus, and grant her family and loved ones the strength to bear this great loss.

Rest well, Hajiya. 🙏🏼💚

H.E. Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu, CON, FNSE, FNICE, (JARMAN POTISKUM) yesterday received the Kaigaman Potiskum/Hakimin Ngojin who also doubles as the Yobe State Hon. Commisioner for Religious affairs at his residence in Potiskum, where the traditional title holder paid homage to him.

The visit was marked by a warm interaction, reflecting the mutual respect and enduring relationship between the Kaigaman Potiskum and the Jarma of Potiskum.
