ONE OF MY CULTURES 🧫
I'm from UMUDA ISINGWU in UMUAHIA North ohuhu LGA ABIA STATE......
We Have what we called igba oso ekpo and that is being done by youths and children a week before a night to Igba ekpe.
Which is Igba nchichi ekpe, that is carried out by youths, children and even oldies.😬
Then Igba ekpe takes place by every one who wishes to Join...
Is a culture that brings almost everyone back home to experience those days and even now.
Our child hood time can't be complete without this memorable culture. We love to go and experience it.
During our childhoody days, even when our parents trys to stop us to go watch, we will definitely find out ways to move and join our friends and families out there... Still come back safely without any harm.
This days, a lot has changed and many don't stay anymore to experience it expect the ones that are too obsessed and overwhelmed by this very culture.
People like us no longer Care to stay back for New Year to view and have fun that comes with it. NAH ❌❌❌
Christianity came, you will discover that many lost interest in some of our cultures but still . CULTURE IS CULTURE AND CAN'T BE ERASED.📌
We met culture and culture will remain till we leave.
