VOTE ADC – AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS FOR DEGEMA LGA (DELGA) CHIEF DIGGS AKOBO AS CHAIRMAN.
DEGEMA – The once ancient administrative headquarters of Nigeria deserves tested administrator to head its council in this SIM FUBARA dispensation. So, we found DIGGS FLAMIN AKOBO who satisfies our need to go along with the emergent brave era of the Governor in DEGEMA LGA that hosts ten major towns: Atala, Bakana, Bille, Bukuma, Degema, Ke, Obuama, Oguruama, Tombia and Usokun.
The above listed (10) ten major communities have several fishing and farming settlements numbering over fifty (50) around the oceanic and mainland environment that is yearning for the touch of modern amenities, industries, co-operative organizations, fishing, farming, exploration of its numerous natural facilities. We have seen some with our anointed eyes and will harness them for the benefit of our present and future generations. Our hunger, thirst and devotion spur us to harness and serve the people.
This ripped DEGEMA Consulate once hosted the British colonial administration in Nigeria. It also provided the graveyard for the bodies of some early Colonial Masters who died in Nigeria in course of their administration in Nigeria. DEGEMA has since been abandoned and for too long by both national, state and subsequent local government administrations. Degema LGA deserves the best in Nigeria because of its strategic location, resources and historical values. Our team is willing to liberate and provide communities with homes to live, safety to life, education and food for healthy living. Hence, we come to invite transformed thinkers in the traditional rulers list, elders, youths and women in our 17 Wards to join us and recover the hidden glories.
Blessing comes with obedience. Our founding fathers were obedient to their creator; hence DEGEMA LGA is extremely blessed with several hectares of arable lands to grow foods for consumption and export. There are several minerals to exploit and vast mangrove forest to develop for fish farming, recreation and city expansion.
