I'm sure majority of skilled and unskilled Nigerians still conceive election seasons like other numerous public holidays without expectations attached (maybe negative) because they've lost hope for the government.
Business plays a vital role for the government by paying taxes, CREATING employment, and ENGAGING in corporate social responsibility.
The government in return ought to provide financial assistance to the business sector through government banks and other financial institutions. This may appear in the form of a loan with little interest.
How many grants or financial assistance are disbursed from the govt today to SMEs? Despite uncountable failed promises to do so.
Govt should provide good road networks, stable electricity, communication and security.
All outlined, are below 40% implementation in our society today (how fast can you connect 3 constituencies closest to you by road, rail or water? How convenient will that be? Constant power supply has been a theory yet to be practicalised, insecurity is the order of the day as all citizens must hold onto their belief for supernatural protection).
Youths today are the bedrock for a successful business in society tomorrow that generates revenue to sustain the nation.
We can vividly imply that our government (State and Federal) does not care about a sustainable business for the nation tomorrow, following how the youths are ignored and oppressed, skills not supported, low /no capital to begin a business, skill acquisitions training are only talked about in campaigns, the effective educational system is a thing of the past. The reality of free education and support of same is an illusion.
There is a task at hand, a call to all Nigerians to get involved in rehabilitating our fallen Nation. We must begin from the constituency level in every state.
If the constituency Leaders (State House of Assembly Members) will be diligent to dispatch their responsibilities HONourably, an undeniable positive change will commence in our Nation and GLORY will ARISE AGAIN.
