Sad One: Owan Enoh Loses Brother, Rev. Fr. Victor Owan Enoh

Rev. Fr. Victor Achima Owan Enoh, a renowned Catholic priest and the first from Etung LGA, Cross River State, has passed away.

He died on Sunday, February 8, 2026. He was the elder brother of the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Anthony Owan Enoh, and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Senator John Owan Enoh.

Sources say he had been battling diabetes for some time.

May his soul rest in peace.

Emmanuel Eneji Nkpeh, MNSE, ANIPR, the CEO of the Onyinabuo Nkpeh Foundation and Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Power - has once again demonstrated his unwavering dedication to the progress of his people.

‎Recognizing education as the cornerstone of societal advancement and sustainable development, the Onyinabuo Nkpeh Foundation is spearheading an initiative to sponsor the registration of 100 qualified indigent students from Bekwarra Local Government Area for the upcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), popularly known as JAMB.
‎This targeted intervention aims to remove financial barriers that often prevent talented young individuals from accessing higher education opportunities. By covering the costs associated with JAMB registration, the foundation is empowering these students to pursue tertiary education, acquire skills, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of Bekwarra, Cross River State, and Nigeria at large.

‎Engr. Nkpeh, a distinguished electrical engineer, power systems specialist, and energy management expert, has consistently prioritized grassroots development through his foundation. His efforts extend beyond infrastructure and power sector advisory roles to tangible investments in education, youth empowerment, agriculture, and sports — as evidenced by previous donations such as full sports kits to Bekwarra United during the Governor's Cup and ongoing scholarship programs that have supported dozens of students.
