WHO WE ARE
The Law Students Association Of Nigeria (LAWSAN), Rivers State University is the student body domiciled for all undergraduate law students in the Rivers State University. The Law Students Association Of Nigeria (LAWSAN), Rivers State University was birthed to the give law students of Rivers State University a platform that will amplify their voices on matters bordering on the promotion

and protection of their welfare and interest. This is reflected in our motto "POPULUS LAWSAN EST SUPREMA LEX" meaning "the interest of LAWSAN is the supreme law." OUR OBJECTIVES
LAWSAN RSU seeks to promote its welfare and interest through the following aims and objectives:
- To promote the welfare and status of LAWSANITES.
- To promote the legal education of LAWSANITES by means of lectures, seminars, Moot Court trials, symposia and publications.
- To promote the observance of the tenets of democracy, rule of law, equity and justice in the association and Nigeria in general.
- To promote and encourage amongst members a sense of belonging, responsibility and dedication to the cause of LAWSAN and achieve its programs through active participation.
- To affiliate and work in concert with other organizations within and outside the university with similar aims and objectives.
