The Imo Foundation was established as a humanitarian organ of the government under the office of the Executive governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha to provide immediate materials, physical relief/assistance for the less-privileged Imo citizens. The function of Imo Foundation is to serve as a bridge between the rich and poor as well as coordinating the humanitarian activiti
es of the government. Imo Foundation also initiates and organizes activities for the attraction and stimulation of aids to the less-privileged to reduce poverty. Our primary areas of intervention are:
Special Medical support programmes for indigent persons
Emergency relief and humanitarian assistance for internally displaced persons
Economic empowerment for the less privileged
Rural development initiatives
Education and community service
Social rehabilitation
Special intervention for orphans and vulnerable children
Anchoring the policy of HEALTH AT YOUR DOOR STEP which will provide health services to the people of our state at every point in time.
