ARREST AND TRANSFER OF MAN O' WAR SUSPECTS LINKED TO THE MURDER OF 100L CYBERSECURITY STUDENT
THE JOURNEY OF JUSTICE
1. Fact-Checking & Verification at the State CID
Following widespread rumors and anxiety within the student community regarding the alleged evasion of arrest by the suspects, a dedicated student delegation took decisive action. We visited the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to personally verify the status of the suspects and ensure transparency.
2. High-Level Meeting with Police Leadership
During our visit, the delegation held a critical meeting with the Imo State Assistant Commissioner of Police, Adamu Ahmadu.
Our Stance: We explicitly registered our collective displeasure, anger, and absolute condemnation of the recurring brutality meted out by Man O' War personnel within and around the school environs.
The Balance: While we acknowledged the historical efforts of security groups in maintaining student safety, we made it clear that protection must never morph into oppression or murder.
3. Physical Confirmation of the Suspects
To completely dispel any false narratives, we insisted on a physical verification of the detainees. After navigating the necessary administrative protocols, our request was granted.
We can authoritatively confirm that three key suspects (two males, one female) are in custody. They were brought out and identified as:
The Commandant "Viper" (Male)
The Intelligence Officer "Bullet" (Male)
The Assistant Commandant "Anastasia" (Female)
4. Legal Proceedings and Transfer to Abuja
Because homicide and murder are severe offenses, the Imo State CID has officially transferred the case to the Force Headquarters in Abuja for deep-dive investigation and federal prosecution.
Note on the Legal Implications: Under Nigerian law, murder is a capital offense. If found guilty, the suspects face the highest thresholds of justice including life imprisonment or death by hanging.
5. Commitment to Justice
The police leadership has strongly assured the student delegation that the investigation will be exhaustive. Anyone directly or indirectly involved in the untimely death of our innocent colleague will face the full wrath of the law.
We left the State CID reassured by a warm, receptive, and transparent police force that appears fully aligned with our demand for justice. They are on our side, and they want accountability just as much as we do.
We will not fold our arms. We will monitor this case to Abuja and back.
Justice for our fallen colleague!
