Our House of Representatives hopeful for Ohaji-Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency, Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR, has reiterated her commitment towards the empowerment of the youths and women. She has been working round the clock to ensure better life for the masses. She has been on ground since the past five to six years. Now she has taken note of the pressing needs of the federal constituency, and she has declared herself in servitude to the oil-rich federal constituency.

"I've made painstaking observations about this constituency and I've decided that my people will never lack a voice anymore. I want to get this job and do it very well for my people. I know that progress is coming and we shall all have a taste of it", she concluded while addressing her people.

WHEN THINGS ARE WORKING WELL FOR OUR MOTHERS, THINGS ARE WORKING WELL FOR THE FATHERS AND CHILDREN.... Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR said while addressing women/mothers at Holy Family Catholic Parish, Izombe and Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, Orsu-Obodo.

With burning urge to turn things around, one cannot forget to celebrate the mothers/women on the occasion of Mothers' Day Celebration today. For this, Hon Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR visited two great parishes in Oguta LGA today - Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, Orsu-Obodo (her home parish) and Holy Family Catholic Parish, Izombe. The reception was warm and the remarks were enormously encouraging.

"I am so happy to be among you today; I did everything humanly possible to be here today. The kind of reception I have received here is massive. Thank you so much my fellow women and mothers", Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR said during her speech.

Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR continues, "We all know the importance of women in the society and that is why we give them special honour. Women are very important in the families where we all come from. It is certain that when things are going well with the women and mothers, things also go well with the fathers and the children. Then a better society is expected. God will use us to restore peace in our federal constituency. I want all of you to pray for me in this period that I have a great dream. The dream is for all of us. Only God can hear us and make it possible".

The churches were lit with excitement for receiving a true quality in Igolo of Ohaji-Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency.

NGOZI RBK OKAFOR CONSULTS THE YOUTH LEADERS, WOMEN LEADERS AND SECRETARIES OF THE POLITICAL WARDS OF OHAJI-EGBEMA/OGUTA/ORU WEST FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY: Solicits their support and Promises True and Quality Representation

One of the most effective and important things that many aspirants of different positions do not remember to achieve is consulting the youth leaders, the women leaders and the secretaries of the different political wards comprising their respective constituencies. These people who are mostly neglected are thought always to be controlled by the chairman of their political party. Contrastingly, it never happened and they got it all wrong.

The story has changed now as Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR has taken another dimension. We should not be surprised that she sprung this outside the box. After all, any person who dedicated himself under the tutelage of a great icon and leader of the South Eastern Nigeria, Rt Hon Chief Raphael Benjamin Kechi (RBK) OKAFOR, would not come today to show he/she lacks knowledge. For this reason, Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR has shown knowledgeable capacity and this means she learnt so well under the tutelage of her own dearest father.

The consultation had two sessions - the first was with the women leaders of the thirty-three (33) political wards of the three LGAs that make up the federal constituency, Ohaji-Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency; whereas the second was with the ward secretaries and the ward youth leaders. But it is worthy of note that the Director General of Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR's campaign organisation, Dr Ikegwuruka Johndonald, obtained the permissions of the three APC chairmen of the three LGAs comprising the federal constituency. He confirmed this during the meeting sessions.

"There are three points I have for this meeting. First, I have called you today to let you know that I have interest to represent our Federal Constituency come 2023. Second, I have come to let you know that women are no longer going to be marginalized. Third, I promise to be transparent in my regime", Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR echoed while addressing the women.

Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR continued, "I need to have complete and total support of my fellow women. With your help, I will emerge victoriously in this project. I am assuring you that my victory is for everyone, my success also means success for everyone"

"In as much as I want to be transparent, I am out to ensure peace reigns again everywhere in our constituency", Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR concluded while addressing the women.

Her speech was well delivered and borne out of the abundance of the heart. Then she went further to address the secretaries and the youth leaders.

"I thank you all for answering me when I called. You left your businesses to come here and listen to me. You will never regret this sacrifice. I understand how important all of you are and I do not know why some aspirants over the years never bothered to come down to this level. I called you to consolidate my official declaration to run for House of Representatives for our Federal Constituency", Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR said while addressing the youth leaders and the secretaries.

"The roles of the youths in our society cannot be overemphasized. The youths run the show and own the society because you have the capacity to make things positive. Why then will I look down on you all. I can never look down on you, never!", Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR continued.

"Yes, the party structure is not complete without the secretaries and you all form the live-wire of the party. If I do not recognize this fact, then I do not have good dreams for the society. I want you all to support me in this project. I have the physical, financial, mental and spiritual capacity to run and do this job well. I solicit your support today", Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR concluded.

I want us to consider her hot heart-warming desire to let another dimension befall the constituency positively. Truly, we have seen her preparedness and she is willing to do this job well as she has promised. She will deliver, no doubts.

IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO RISK THE USUAL, YOU WILL HAVE TO SETTLE FOR THE ORDINARY

There has been an old trend of politics and many tend to follow that. They always ask a good choice if he/she has carried bag in Nigerian politics. My question now goes thus, "If the good choices and chosen ones start carrying bag, when will they be ready to effect the desired changes?"

One philosopher once said that we cannot expect a different result while we do same thing same way over and again. This is absolute absurdity.

It does not matter when the right choice surfaces, the right thing is done right at the right time. Whenever the good choice surfaces, that is exactly the right time.

I love Barack Obama who said, "In the face of impossible odds, people who love this country can change it". Only those who love our constituency can sacrifice to change it with a better and true representation.

Many have asked one question that I have an answer to. They ask where Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR has been all these years. But I want to tell you that she never forgot her origin because she grew up here. She was trained in this society and understands the needs of the constituency any time any day. This goes in line with the words of a famous football player/manager, "I love Madrid. I am happy to be here. I have been here three years and hope to be here longer. But I am proud of where I come from and never forget the people I grew up with", Zinedine Zidane.

If we do not change our ideology, we cannot take care of odd events facing us. We shall continue sleeping on the bicycle if we do not change our directional thoughts. Stan Laurel once said, "I had a dream that I was awake and I woke up to find myself asleep".

Our lack of interest in politics and voting exercises is occasioned by what we have been put through over the years. Up till this moment, the society realizes how important every single step they take is. This is the right time to take another step that will define our future style.

Trite to the complaints of our dear and beloved people of Ohaji-Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency, we have not maintained equity and fairness in giving chances. Here is a woman with so much to offer. She is not just a woman seeking the position declared for, but one who wants to get the job done very well.

The purpose of our lives is to be happy. Here is a woman who has the instinct that failure will never overtake her because her determination to succeed is very strong. Our happiness is what she thinks of and she clamours for the youths and women to be better positioned in the society; and men being integral part of the better society.

Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR understands that we survive not because we are the strongest, but rather adapted to the situation. Just like Charles Darwin said, "It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change". But she is here to give us better changes that guarantee political consciousness, our civil and civic involvements without clandestine awes.

The only reason she is making this sacrifice is because there is something better down the road coming for us.

In Order to Succeed, We Must First Believe that Yes We Can.

Little do I wonder why Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR has taken this bold step. A very decisive step that entails so much sacrifices for the society. Many will wonder, but that will not make their beliefs wander in vacuum.

Lady Ngọzi RBK OKAFOR is saturated with the desire to make great difference within the Ohaji-Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency. She truly believes that "Yes! She can".

She has good heart because she is a mother. No wonder Abraham Lincoln said, "Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other". She has the resolution already that she will succeed.

She is not out to show affluence upon her declaration for the Federal Constituency, but to give her best in the service to humanity; she wants to improve the welfare of her people. I take you to the words of Alexander the Great, "I had rather excel others in the knowledge of what is excellent, than in the extent of my power and dominion".
