PRESIDENT BUHARI APPOINTS NEW SERVICE CHIEFS

President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the immediate resignation of the Service Chiefs, and their retirement from service.
Those involved are the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas; and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.
President Buhari thanks the outgoing Service Chiefs for what he calls their “overwhelming achievements in our efforts at bringing enduring peace to our dear country,” wishing them well in their future endeavours.
The new Service Chiefs are: Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff.
The President congratulates the new Service Chiefs, and urges them to be loyal and dedicated in the discharge of their responsibilities.

SSA YOUTH AFFAIRS HON ERIC UWAKWE BAGS IMO ACHIEVERS AWARD FOR EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCES.

The senior special Assistant to the Governor of Imo state on Youth Affairs Hon Eric Uwakwe, has been given the Imo Achievers award as the “PROACTIVE YOUTH LEADER OF THE YEAR because of his exemplary performance in governance.”

The senior special Assistant Hon uwakwe was rewarded because of his service to humanity,Nigerian youth and the entertainment industry.

The CEO of saint kevin concept Mr Kevin Dim, who announced the award Hon Eric uwakwe as the Proactive youth leader of the Year , said selecting Eric uwakwe for the award was easy as his track record of exemplary performance towered above his peers.

Hon Eric uwakwe expressed his gratitude to the CEO of saint kevin concept and said the honour had affirmed that the work of his office touched youths in Imo state .

SSA YOUTH AFFAIRS,HON ERIC UWAKWE FLAGS OFF SKILLS ACQUISITIONS TRAINING FOR YOUTHS IN IMO STATE IN PATTNERSHIP WITH OMENKA ART INDUSTRY ..

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Imo state on Youth Affairs Hon Eric uwakwe has on Wednesday 22/July/2020 commissioned and flags off the training of 500 youths on free skill acquisition across the 27 Local Government Council

The Senior special Assistant,Hon Eric uwakwe , who launched the training at his office in Imo Youth Centre,Owerri said the initiative is part of the Shared prosperity administration’s revolutionary plans for youth empowerment through vocational and skills acquisition traning .

“I am delighted today on the occasion of flag-off of the youth empowerment programme to train our teeming youths.

” The programs is in consonance with Governor Hope Uzodimma shared prosperity administration policies and programmes that are anchored on wealth creation, self-sufficient and economic viability through a mechanism of youth empowerment and self-sufficient “, Hon Eric uwakwe stated.

According to him, each participant would be given a counterpart tool and soft loans to start something in that regard after the traning..

Hon Eric uwakwe , while stressing on the importance of the skill acquisition which accordingly said would boost the economics of the state as well as the eradicate poverty.

Earlier, the Participant and beneficiaries , thanked the Senior special Assistant for the laudable initiative to strategically reposition the youth of the state to the status of being self-reliance,assured their readiness to take the traninging serious.
