"Huh?" I spin around in confusion; an older man is calling out to me. Watching him approach, I notice his eyes stare at the red rose in my hand, and he smiles.
"Oh, thank goodness you are finally here, you're late." He is smiling, but his tone sounds stern. Not sure what's going on, I find myself quickly escorted to the elevator. Noticing that the button pushed is for the penthouse as it is the last button on the long number of floors I can't help asking if they're expecting me, thinking, maybe David is behind some practical joke; but I am just met with a smile, looking as if there is a hidden agenda in his expression.
Elevator opens into a dimly light room. As i am ushered in, a tall slender figure staring out into the beautiful night scene from the room window turns towards us. His dark eyes fix on me, I suddenly feel as if I am been pierced through, as if my clothes are been ripped off just from his gaze. Reflexively I shift as if trying to hide myself.
"Mr. Hashiro. Sorry to keep you waiting, as our thanks for your assistance we have pre-pared a gift for your pleasure,"the man says, suddenly pushing me forward.
"NO!" Panic fills me as I finally understand the predicament I am in......

Late in the evening,a taxi pulls up to a grand hotel.The Golden Dragon Hotel,looking up,am so amazed,I can feel my mouth hanging open.This hotel must have at least 40 floors.Feeling nervous,I squeeze the delicately wrapped package in my hands,pressing it against my chest,heading for the front door.I want to surprise him with a gift.He just started here as a bellhop,so he has to work on his birthday.As I am about to open the door,a gentle female voice called out to me from the side of the entryway.There I am handed a single red rose with a promise that I will be given something good as a special guest if I keep it close. Excitement in my footsteps,i enter the hotel. The light pierces my dark-accustomed eyes as I enter through the automatic doors, however,the lobby was quiet;two male clerks stand behind the counter. Not seeing who I was looking for,I decided to go ask a clerk.
Welcomed with a smile,"How may we service you tonight, my lady?" I feel a sickening chill from how this is asked but choose to ignore it smiling back.
"I am looking for someone who works here,his nam...
"Hey,hey you,miss!"a rough old male voice calls out to me.
