AMAZING IMO YOUTHS CUT - ACROSS THE 27 - L.G.A IN IMO STATE NIGERIA 🫶

Congratulations to you all today as we mark the end of the training of this programme 🫶🎊😊🫡

We National Youth Council of Nigeria-NYCN, Imo State Chapter give God the glory for making it possible for us to come to the end of the program and for the safety of our Youths across Imo State who participated without any accident or problem at the farm

Special thanks to the government of Imo State ably led by H.E Dis. Sen. Hope Uzodimma for enabling environment throughout our 2 weeks program and to the ministry of Youths and talent hunt led by Hon Commissioner for Youths Hon Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu , S.A to the Governor on Youths Hon Eric Uwakwe

Thanks to my senior brother and the House of Assembly Member representing the good people of Mbaitoli State Constituency Hon Engr Innocent Ikpamezie who cue into this vision and came to identify with the Youth community and gave a business proposal to 10 Youths

To my wonderful Boss and brother Hon Dr Collins Ugorji who flue all the way from Abuja for the opening of that program because the interest of the Youths and our dear Imo is in his heart, shares business trips and ideas to Imo Youths we love you

To my National President Amb Dr Solomon Adodo and his National Executives Committee we appreciate and salute you all for the steady support and vision for Nigerian Youths, it's a mission in progress

Kudos to Speculate FARMS & Agric-Business for training over 60 youths across Imo State God bless you for me, to NYCN MEDIA DIRECTORATE IMO STATE and to the press you all are wonderful.

People with Disabilities were not left out in this wonderful Agro Youth Empowerment Program as they came massively to acquire the knowledge and we incorporated them as a family Association of People with Disabilities
Should know that the welfare of our Youths with disabilities is the priority of National Youth Council Of Nigeria Imo State Chapter ably led by Comr Akuchie Stephen

Today exams will be handwritten to prepare and gear them up for food sustainability and growth in Imo our dear State

We call on our dear Imo State Government House Owerri , private sector, banks and business owners especially Agro business owners to cue into this food productivity and help partner with the Youths to meaningfully engaged, together we will make Imo a food production state and a better place to live.

Today, as the world commemorates International Youth Day 2025, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Imo State Chapter, stands in solidarity with millions of young people across the globe to affirm an enduring truth _the strength, vision, and resilience of the youth form the bedrock of any nation’s destiny_.

Youth empowerment is far more than a policy initiative; it is the very foundation upon which sustainable, prosperous, and equitable societies are built. It is the conscious, strategic commitment to equip young men and women with the knowledge, skills, values, and opportunities they need to innovate, to lead, and to transform their communities.

A truly sustainable future is one where the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are not merely discussed but embodied in our daily lives in our classrooms, our marketplaces, our governance structures, our environmental stewardship, and in the way we relate to one another. It is a future where young people are not passive observers, but visionary architects of progress.

Under the purposeful leadership of *Comrade Stephen Akuchie, Chairman, NYCN Imo State*, and with the unwavering support of *His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, GSSR, Governor of Imo State* a leader whose inclusive governance and youth-oriented policies continue to inspire us as we are mobilizing and equipping young people across all 27 LGAs to take ownership of their collective future. Governor Uzodimma’s steadfast commitment to education, innovation, and youth participation remains a defining pillar in our mission to secure a sustainable tomorrow.

We therefore call upon every young Nigerian from the vibrant cities to the rural heartlands to rise with courage, integrity, and creativity. Let us channel our collective strength to confront the defining challenges of our time: climate change, unemployment, inequality, and social division. Let us be the generation that not only demands change, but delivers it.

As we celebrate this day under the distinguished leadership of *His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria*, and with the dedication of *Comrade Solomon Adodo, President, National Youth Council of Nigeria*, Imo State reaffirms its commitment to advancing the cause of youth empowerment as the driving force for a sustainable and prosperous Nigeria.

The time to act is not tomorrow it is now.
