Osun Leverage Conversation ; NYCN OSUN SEEK MORE COLLABORATION ON YOUTH AND COMMUNITY DRIVEN INITIATIVE

A Nation is built when everyone contribute their quota to the development of such Nation. This was the statement from the Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN - Osun State Chapter Com. Adetunji Ajala during the opening remark at leverage Conversation held on 6th of December at Osogbo grammar school hall , Osogbo,Osun State.

The vision driven Chairman encouraged all the participants and various stakeholders across the youth constituency not to depend on government alone but optimise the opportunity around them for the good of their community .

The theme of the conference was hinged on rural community opportunities and development. The conference brought seasoned entrepreneurs with outstanding records as guest speakers . The event create ambience of opportunities for the youth and more importantly a platform for mentorship for the future generation.

The Destiny Development Initiative (DDI) push for collaboration and partnership with relevant individuals and organizations worth applauding for the leverage conversation. The development of Osun state and Nigeria requires holistic approach with sincere leadership and management,not the one with complaints and blame game ,this was the idea of the executive Director of DDI, Pastor Segun Oduyebo at the conference.
The occasion was graced by the manager of SMEDAN in Osun State, CEO of Artdeco, CEO Abebi foods ,Government functionaries, Private Companies , Civil Society practitioners among others .

The Chairman , Com. Adetunji Ajala eulogized the government for making use of the initiative presented by the youth council in the time past and seek for more input and impact driven initiative in the youth constituency. The statement reads.

Osun Youth Town Hall Dialogue: Empowering Voices and Charting the Path for Youth Development

In a significant gathering, youth leaders and stakeholders in Osun State convened at the NUJ Hall on Saturday, November 16, for the Osun Youth Town Hall Dialogue, organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Osun State chapter. The event drew over 40 youth organizations and a broad range of youth representatives to discuss crucial issues surrounding youth empowerment, skills development, politics, education, and more.

The Special Assistant to the Governor of Osun State on Youth Mobilization, Hon. Segun Oyewale, emphasized Governor Ademola Adeleke's commitment to youth welfare. He reassured attendees of the government’s ongoing and upcoming youth employment initiatives, including the appointment of youth into key governmental positions as evidence of the Governor's dedication to youth development.

However, the dialogue took a critical turn when youth journalist and panelist, Com. Jare Tiamiyu, called for youth to embrace truth-telling, regardless of public perception. He highlighted the neglect of local infrastructure, citing the poor state of a health center in Irepodun Local Government and accusing some political appointees of failing to serve their communities effectively.

Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Osun State, Com. Adetunji Ajala, urged the youth to unite in support of the state’s progress, stressing the importance of inclusivity, regardless of background. Com. Abisola Ariwodola also spoke passionately about empowering women to achieve self-sufficiency and leveraging the state’s tech hub for personal and professional growth.

The event culminated with the recognition of past NYCN leaders, earning applause from the youth in attendance. In his closing remarks, former Chairman Com. Abdulazeez Ismail urged the current leadership to remain focused on organizing youth-centric programs that would truly empower the next generation. The communique from the dialogue will be forwarded to relevant state and non-state actors for actionable implementation, as assured by Com. Adetunji Ajala.

The Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN - Osun State Chapter appreciates Asiwaju Ademola Adeleke for keeping to his promise . He specially thank the people's governor for ensuring the promise made during the *Ipade imole* come to fruition.

The last time the state experienced massive tractorization for food security was during the administration of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and since that time , the state have suffered a set back in mechanized food production .

May I congratulate the citizens of osun state on this drive towards ensuring food security in order to end hunger and poverty in osun state . It's crystal clear that the government is ready for massive food production through the distribution of farm input and tractor flagged off today .

Equally, It is imperative to recognized the input of the commissioner for agriculture and food security, Otunba Tola Faseru and Special Adviser on Agriculture for their doggedness for ensuring this lofty proposition come to fruition. It's the right direction to go most especially at this time when there is hike in food.

The People's Governor has demonstrated impeccable commitment to food security committee by setting up food security committee that set up a frame work to the implementation committee which showed a step by step commitment to food production. It is on this note I enjoy all the farmers and intending farmers to make use of this lofty proposition for liberation of people by ensuring these input are use in accordance with the directives given by the ministry of Agriculture and food security.

The Umbrella Youth body in Osun state through the leadership of com. Ajala Adetunji congratulates the Wife of the Executive Governor of Osun State, Chief(Mrs) Ngozi Adeleke on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Com. Ajala identified with the commitment and service to humanity of Chief Mrs Ngozi Adeleke and commended the wife of the Governor for her selfless service to humanity .

NYCN OSUN CONDOLES WITH ALHAJI AKINLEYE AND FAMILY ON THE PASSING AWAY OF ALHAJA AJARAT AMOKE AKINLEYE

_Thursday, 11th July 2024_

The Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN - Osun State Chapter Com. Ajala Adetunji condoles with the family of Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Osun State and his family on the passing away of his mother, Alhaja Ajarat Amoke Akinleye.
The announcement of the death of Alhaja Amoke has created a vacuum in the Akinleye's family and this is however heartbreaking . The testimonies from those close to mama affirmed her strong belief in helping humanity and ethos of Islam.
As a committed Muslim and one who believes in helping others , she will be greatly missed by many whom she has impacted positively.

It's our prayer that God will forgive mama Amoke Akinleye, raise her rank among those who are guided, take care of those he leaves behind and more importantly give the family of *Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye* the strength to bear the loss of his dear mother.

Birthday Celebration: NYCN OSUN Celebrates Rt.Hon Egbedun's Contributions to Youth Development

In a congratulatory message released by the Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN - Osun State Chapter ,Com.Adetunji Ajala celebrates Osun House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun as a thorough and detailed personality who believes in youth development and Osun projects.
The Chairman of the youth council in the state reiterates that the speaker is a blessing to the youth constituency, the house of assembly and the state as a whole . Com. Ajala described Rt.hon. Adewale Egbedun as a blessing to humanity and a very pragmatic legislator .
The input of the speaker to protect the right of the youth most especially when the police were disturbing the youth in the state stood him out . We are not ignorant of different people oriented bills initiated by the Speaker towards a better Osun State.
May I use this medium to appreciate Rt.hon Adewale input to the peaceful youthful atmosphere in the state most especially when some charletans want to disrupt the peace of the state .
