"Oh shoot! I am pretty late" Ling mei mumbled as sjs checked her wrist watch and drove towards the venue
Luckily enough she got there ten minutes before the time
"Thay was close" she breathed out in relief
"Welcome ma" one of the employees walking out of the building greeted her while she responded with a nod
"Oh here she comes....the great female CEO" As she entered the lobby she could already hear Mira's sarcastic words
Her lips curled up to a smile and she looked at Matt, her eyes practically begging
"Sorry i am late, I had to dropped the kid's off at school" she said as they walked towards the elevator
The building had just finished construction and still had that new house smell
Coupled with that festivity and ceremony it was decorated so it looked pleasing to The eyes
The building was a skyscraper and all for the use of vanguard corporations
The first floor was the lobby and reception
The 2nd to the 4th floor contained the planning department, management and pantries
The 5th to the 13th floor are dedicated to various staffs and all other department
The fourteenth floor upwards contains the core management of the company including the human resources office
Mira opened the elevator door before tapping on 23rd floor
"That far?" Ling mei blinked
"Yup it's the top mos floor, as the companies president that's what you get, at least a good view of the whole city while sitting in your office"
"Is this what you mean by having the whole place to myself?" Ling mei asked glancing at the orderly arranged tables and chairs
"Its the secretaries and your personal assistants offices"Mira retorted
"You two should just stop bantering already it's almost time" Matt said after a long period of silence
"Whatever" mutters, sue glanced at both Matt and Mira she could sense the tense atmosphere between them but she didn't say anyone
The trio walked around the company once again to check if everything had been in place
"Let's start" Matt said opening the door
The ribbon to be cut was already placed
"We'll do a ribbon cutting ceremony too?" Mira asked seeing all the preparation
"Hum....everyone knows that" Matt replied looking at Mira as if she was a fool

Back at the Gu corporations
"Boss" lucas called softly
"Huh" Gu mohan raised his brows
"Miss Ling's opening ceremony will start In few minutes" he said
"Okay"
He rounded everything he could ask fast as he could and went to his office restroom to get a change of clothes
At the same time at a quiet courtyard
"Young master you called me" the servant bored in respect
"Hum...prepare my car for me" Rong chen oredered looking calm and serene
"Yes sir"
"Are we going to the opening and ribbon cutting ceremony?" The butler who had been watching by the dining pillow slowly walked out and asked
"Of course, else how am I going to get a chance with Miss Ling" Tong chen asked with a smile
Apart from wanting to sn**ch her because GU mohan liked her,
Rong chen had a feeling and emotion around Ling mei.
Weather it was love or admiration, he'd have to find out later but first he wants get her on his side
"The car is ready"
"Hum...let's go" he said glancing at the middle ages butler
Getting the hint he humbly picked up the gift prepared by Rong chen and followed behind him quietly
Back at vanguard opening ceremony
"Thank you all" Ling mei smiled as she face the crowd
The crowd erupted with another applause
She had successfully finished the ribbon cutting ceremony and addressed the crowd
"This is her company?" Mo chuwan who was seated in a low key car across the road asked her butler her voice obviously contains a hint of disdain
"Yes, it less than five years now" he replied
"She is quite capable huh" she smiled
"How about the thing I asked you to do?' She asked him
"The man I asked to follow her saw her close to two kids and dropped them at school" the butler said and her eyes lit up
"Two kids?....investigate more" she said
"I know you can't be so pure as you claimed to be.....how exciting will it be to expose you in front of brother mohan"
