Few days ago, officials of the Ministry of Women, Children &Social Affairs in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, Osun State Command rescued a 7year old girl who was gruesomely abused by her father's sister who fosters her. The condition we found the girl spoke of the highest level of wickedness, left to rotten and fed once a week or once in 2weeks, she was abandoned in the backyard of the house in a tattered refusedump environment.

I appreciate the Osun Command family unit officer "K" , the Osun Command PPRO and the Commissioner of Police for their support, commitment and being so humane in sorting the baby girl who has become a skeleton, too weak to stand and with broken bones.

At the Ministry, with the kind support of His Excellency, the Governor and wife, we shall continue to uphold the rights of our children in the State and protect them under every circumstance. We have taken custody of the girl as government would shelter her, educate and feed her and take care of her health.

God's Will be done. Ilerioluwa tise l'Osun!!
