Dear Muslim faithful(s),

I congratulate you on the occasion of EID-EL-FITRI; which is the end to the holy month of Ramadan.

Undoubtedly, I appreciate the large quantum of prayers that you have offered for our dear nation, Nigeria and the world at large; may the almighty Allah accept our Ibadah.

Let me use this medium to emphasis that the challenges we face as a nation are not insurmountable; it only requires our strong resolve and determination as a people.

let's keep working as Patriots that we truly are and reject all the advances of those that fans the embers of war and division; God willing, peace and serenity would return to our country and our economy would blossom again.

Once again, I say a huge congratulations to the Muslim community and I wish you well in your celebration.

GOV AKEREDOLU RESUMES FROM VACATION, ASSURES ONDO PEOPLE OF ACCELERATED DEVELOPMENT

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, on Monday resumed official duties after the expiration of his 15-day working vacation.

Governor Akeredolu had on Thursday, April 1, 2021, embarked on the vacation as the first instalment of his 2021 Annual Leave. The vacation ended on Friday, April 23, 2021.

Speaking with reporters in his office, Alagbaka, Akure, the Governor described his vacation as
a refreshing time.

He said: "We have been on this task for over a year without a break. I knew I needed a break so that I could be rejuvenated. I took my time to do a few things. I had a good time.

“Just as I came into the country, the first thing that was put on my table was the victory at the tribunal. It is a great tonic for any governor. It shows me that I have a great task ahead, especially to the people who voted for us. My duty is to accelerate our work and do more."

While Governor Akeredolu was away, the Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, performed the functions of the office of the Governor.
