Ohere Political Vanguard Congratulates Prof. Avidime on his birthday

A support group, Ohere Political Vanguard has described Prof. Solomon Avidime as a dependable and result-driven leader.

The group in a statement in Okene said: “We are glad to join family, friends and political associates to celebrate our Chairman, Prof. Solomon Avidime on the occasion of his birthday. You are indeed an experienced and committed leader who knows the way and shows the way. We are particularly elated because you have proven yourself to be a selfless leader and have led us to victory in the recent election” thank you for sharing your wealth of experience with us, we pray that God grant you continued good health, joy and peace. And we pray that God's grace upon your life will never wane.

The statement signed by Mr Aliyu Mahmud further commended executives and members of Ohere Political Vanguard for their role in the recently conducted election that elected their candidate as Senator of Kogi central senatorial district, Engr. Abubakar Ohere.

Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere Meets with APC stakeholders in Okene/Ogori-Magongo Local Government, Assured them of Dividends of purposeful legislation

The Campaign train of All Progressives Congress, Kogi Central Senatorial Candidate Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere visited Okene/Ogori-Magongo Constituencies yesterday. The entourage led by the DG of APC Kogi State Campaign Council, Hon. Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu and other candidates of the APC including Hon Tijani Mohammed Oliver (TAO). All political appointees from Kogi central were in attendance as well as the DG Kogi central campaign council Hon Abubakar Adagu.

The Campaign train was received by the Chairman of the two Local Governments followed by visits to the traditional rulers and thereafter, a meeting with the APC party stakeholders. The people of Okene/Ogori-Magongo came out en masse to welcome the leading Candidate Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere and other party faithfuls.

The DG APC Kogi state campaign council, Chief Pharmacist Abdulkareem Mohammed Jamiu Asuku, hinted that “ Our candidate, Engr. Abubakar Ohere is too well known for his capacity and can-do spirit. He stands tall in his track records as a democrat, a champion of rule of law, a man at home in every part of our state, and a truly visionary leader. All you need to do is to think of his antecedents and track records as a former public office holder, therein you can draw your conclusion.”

As a true party men and women you all have provided exceptional service to our dear party since 2015 and your contributions are both positive and enduring. When the history of this period is objectively written, it will smile upon you and treat you with utmost kindness.

I want to charge every member of this great party to put in all their efforts in this campaign period to ensure we record a resounding victory in all our elections in the state. The future of Kogi State is safer in our hands, Chief Pharmacist Abdulkarem Mohammed Jamiu Asuku added.”

One of the prominent party stakeholders in Ogori-Magongo, Prof. Olu Akerejola during his goodwill message eulogized Engr. Ohere and described him as a unifier who has demonstrated excellent leadership qualities while serving as Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Commissioner of Works and Housing. He prayed to God to grant him success in the forthcoming February poll.

Engr. Abubakar Ohere while addressing the mammoth crowd, thanked the leadership of our party, especially his Excellency Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello who paid exceptional attention to the various verifiable developmental projects that will not only create employments but improve the economy of the zone. He thanked other stakeholders, and the entire party members for their love and support. “ I can say with confidence that our party is charting a steady course in our journey towards enthroning a lasting democratic culture in our body polity,” he said.

It is worth reiterating the fact that we are stronger today only because we have continued to support the party.

ENGR OHERE STORMS THE STEEL CITY, EXTEND TOUR TO EGANYI AND ADOGO COMMUNITIES

The steel city came alive as the foremost Kogi Central Senatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere, was warmly received by the stakeholders of Ajaokuta Local Government Area during the local government's inauguration of campaign council.

Various youths group and women political movements as well as support groups were lined up at the entrance of the city for the senatorial hopeful and his entourage. The atmosphere became charged on his arrival with singing and dancing as he was ushered into the hall of the comprehensive secondary school, venue of the inauguration.

On the entourage of Engr. Ohere are: Director General, Kogi Central Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Abubakar Adagu, the Central Working Committee Chairman, Alh. Kashim Ihima, the Chairman, Ohere Political Vanguard, Prof. Solomon Avidime, Hon Kabiru Aliyu Jatto aka Kabiru Ozi onyene. Hon. Zubair Amoka among others.

The host's council Chairman, Hon. Mustapha Akaba, in his opening remarks, described Engr. Abubakar Ohere as someone who has paid his dues. He urged residents of Ajaokuta LGA to vote massively for the senatorial candidate because he is a perfect fit for the job at the National Assembly.

In a similar manner, the APC's House of Representatives Candidate for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, expressed his confidence on the people of Ajaokuta Local Government while saying he was optimistic they will not disappoint in delivering the mandate for all fielded APC candidates in the February and March Polls.

The event witnessed the inauguration of over 400 members of the campaign council by the Director General of Kogi Central PCC, Hon. Abubakar Adagu, who subsequently urged the inaugurated campaign council executives to hit the ground running.

Engr. Ohere was presented with an award of excellence in recognition of his enormous contributions towards the growth of the society in Ajaokuta Local Government Area by Onyinoyi Women Association, Ajaokuta.

In his response, Engr. Ohere was appreciative of the support from the people of Ajaokuta Local Government Area and thanked the stakeholders for their efforts in ensuring that the party candidates emerge victorious in the forthcoming election. He promised never to let them down when elected as Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District.

The candidate’s campaign team visited Eganyi and Adogo communities afterward to pay a consultation visit to all traditional rulers in the communities. While addressing the traditional rulers, Engr. Ohere cited the democratic dividends accrued to the communities under the New Direction Government led by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello. These include among others, the upgrading of the traditional stools, construction of central mosque, various road rehabilitation projects, provision of electricity to the communities as well as the construction of Badako General Hospital.

Engr. Ohere further listed appointees of the New Direction Government occupying sensitive positions from Ajaokuta LGA amongst whom include the erstwhile Honourable Commissioner for Health, current Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to the Governor inclusive of Prince Abdulkareem Onyekehi, Hon Mimi Sandra and a host of others.

Ohere stated also that as an engineer in the mining field, he is best positioned to advance the struggle for the full operation of the Ajaokuta Steel Company. Put succinctly, Engr. Ohere said he will work on the Ajaokuta project with his technical know how, while urging the traditional council and the communities to vote APC from top to bottom.

In acceptance, the traditional houses were unanimous in the endorsement of Engr. Ohere and all the APC candidates, stating, this was the only way to show appreciation to His Excellency and to reward Engr. Abubakar Ohere for his hardwork and benevolence to Ajaokuta communities.

The tour ended at the residence of Prince Abdulkareem Onyekehi where the waiting crowd of supporters treated Engr Ohere. to a joyous singing and dancing parade, pledging their unalloyed support.

ENGR OHERE TOOK CENTER STAGE AT ARSENAL AND CHELSEA ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS

The All Progressive Congress Senatorial Candidate Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere celebrated with the youths during the Yuletide season at the annual football fans festival in Okene, the capital city of Kogi central.

The Coca-cola depot venue of the festival was thrown into a frenzy at the entrance of the foremost senatorial candidate who is also a staunch lover of football. The youthful fans organized in different groups occupying different pavillions at the arena sang different songs in praise of Engr. Ohere for gracing the occasion.

The APC Kogi central senatorial candidate, Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere was honored with the title of “òmizè yi ázà” (the “one that empowers others) The event was also followed by the decoration of Engr. Ohere with their official Jersey as well as that of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello.

The honour given to Ohere was an award of excellence in recognition of the various people-oriented projects he embarked upon in the past which includes education scholarships, grants for small-scale businesses, building of houses for the needy and widows, payment of medical bills, and sponsorship of youth abroad for professional courses as well as supporting the fan clubs.

Engr. Ohere while addressing the football fans thanked and appreciated them for the honor given to him and also commended their passion for the round leather sport. "Well, in the world today, football is no ordinary sport though; it is a religion to many. Adherence to a religious belief is not given to rational explanation; it is visceral, it is tribal, it is territorial, Ohere added."

Further he said 'I love your passion, your songs, your refusal to accept defeat, your commitment, your understanding of the game, and your faith in what you are doing”

He appreciated the Kogi central fans base and commended the organizers. He donated the sum of five hundred thousand Naira each to the clubs in support of the celebrations.

He promised to continue to live up to their expectations, noting that Kogi Central fans club is unique nationwide, haven established this lovable and phenomenal idea of uniting the youth of Ebiraland for over 20 years. He promised that as he has never relented in supporting their annual programs, he will ensure the Fans club in Okene receives international recognition when elected as a senator to represent the people of Kogi central in the national assembly.

AHOGEDE RECEIVES ENGR OHERE IN GRAND STYLE AS KARAKU's FORUM GETS 4M DONATION, 1500PIECES OF FABRICS

The people of Ahogede in Bariki ward of Okene local government area trooped out emmasse to receive Engr. Abubakar Sadiku Ohere who visited the forum at their meeting place. The forum under the able leadership of Alh. Yahaya Karaku was highly organized having women, youths, and men groups well seated in their numbers singing and dancing in excitement.

On the entourage of Engr. Ohere included the Chairman of Okene LGA , Hon.AbdulRazaq Muhammed, the CWC Chairman Alh. Kashim Ihima, the Chairman of Ohere Political Vanguard, Prof. Avidime, and a host of others.
Alh. Yahaya Karaku welcomed the APC Senatorial candidate and his entourage to the forum, stating further that his members and himself are with the senator in waiting. He urged the senator to discountenance the rumor of disloyalty from him and his group.

Engr Abubakar Sadiku Ohere in his response said 'this ward is my home' and recalled the political history shared with Alh Yahaya Karaku, who he described as a leader of repute.

Further, he stated that this engagement is to further strengthen their relationship as there are still better days ahead.

“Our government under Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello has done creditably well and we are campaigning with that our performance. The Reference Hospital is there that will provide healthcare for the community and provide job opportunities. The network of roads, the University in Osara, the Ohinoyi's palace amongst others”

Engr. Ohere further announced a 4M Naira donation to cater for people with challenges ranging from petty debt, payment of waec fees, and as an economic stimulus to market women. Also, 1500 pieces of clothing materials were given to women.
