Yesterday, I had the privilege of presenting receipts of tuition fee payments to some of the beneficiaries of our scholarship program at the Kogi State College of Health Sciences & Technology, Idah.

The scholarship, which covered 2–4 years of tuition fees, was awarded to students pursuing various healthcare-related courses, in furtherance of our commitment to building capacity in the health sector and empowering young people with the education and skills needed to serve humanity.

This gesture is part of our broader vision to reduce the financial burden on students, encourage academic excellence, and ensure that no dream of contributing to society through healthcare is cut short due to lack of resources.

As part of activities marking our first 100 Days in office (2023), we carried out a two-phase Micro Business Support Outreach — a modest but impactful gesture that reached over 1,000 market women across our constituency.

This initiative was designed to give our hardworking women, especially petty traders, a morale boost while appreciating and motivating them for their invaluable contributions to our local economy.

This and many more we have done for our people with the common resources entrusted to us — because true representation is about supporting those who keep our markets and homes alive.
