Today, I joined fellow APC party faithful in Alabata Ward, Odeda LGA, to cast our votes in solidarity with our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, affirming him as our consensus presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.

As the apex leader in Alabata ward and one of the apex leaders in Odeda LGA, I had the privilege of engaging with our party members regarding the administration's bold policy reforms. While these necessary structural changes have brought temporary economic friction and inflation, I reminded our people that gold must endure the furnace before it radiates true brilliance. We are in a season of transition, and a stronger, more resilient economy is on the horizon.

Together, we remain resolute in our mission to uplift our people and revitalize our national economy. I congratulate Mr. President on this overwhelming demonstration of confidence by the grassroots, and I reaffirm our unwavering commitment to Nigeria's stability, unity, and progress under our great party.

Yesterday, I joined fellow APC faithful in Odeda LGA to cast our votes in the Ogun Central Senatorial primary election.

Our local government area overwhelmingly elected Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu to fly the party’s flag.

Reports from all wards within Odeda and neighboring LGAs indicate a peaceful and orderly direct primary election involving all registered party members.

By upholding a transparent process, we are strengthening our internal democracy as we build a united front for victory in the 2027 general elections.

OGUN GOVT URGES PARENTS TO STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP WITH SCHOOLS

Parents and guardians have been called upon to build stronger relationships with school administrators and teachers for holistic learning outcomes.

Chairman of Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Apostle ‘Biodun Sanyaolu, made the call during a radio programme in Abeokuta, saying effective learning required joint responsibility between homes and schools.

Apostle Sanyaolu, emphasised the need to instill moral values to learners, said parents should be more responsible and work closely with schools to support academic success of learners' in their educational pursuit.

‘’To reinforce discipline and moral values, I have directed public secondary schools in the State to reintroduce the recitation of the 'Ìṣe Lógún Ìṣe ' rhythm on the Assembly ground to serve as guide to learners,’’ he said.

Sanyaolu, noted that the Ogun State government had provided a conducive environment for teaching and learning, adding that TESCOM remained committed to the capacity development and welfare of teaching staff.

He expressed concern over the rising cases of indiscipline in Public Secondary Schools, disclosing that a stakeholders’ meeting would soon be convened to tackle emerging challenges and chart a way forward.
