Just In: FG offers N62,000 as new minimum wage.

The Federal Government has increased its offer of a new national minimum wage to N62,000, while organized labour has reduced its demand from N494,000 to N250,000.

Already the Tripartite Committee on New National Minimum Wage has adjourned as there was no consensus at the meeting.

The organized private sector also backed the government offer of N62,000.

CUBANA CHIEF-PRIEST SPEAKS TO BBC ON SOUTH-EAST INSECURITY

Cubana Chief Priest said “There is a lot of hunger in South-East region, it is our brothers at home that give criminals information, That’s why I ran to Lagos to do my business.”

In his interview with BBC, he disclosed that he has left Owerri and has relocated to Lagos to avoid getting killed by his brothers.

He said Igbos started k! ling the rich, so the rich stopped coming back home during festive seasons and that was why he ran to Lagos to do his business and, that’s also reason there is so much hunger in Southeast.
