BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTS FORUM;

Today, 30th May 2026, 4Stone Capital, in collaboration with Borgu Local Government, organized a Business and Community Engagement Forum aimed at promoting economic growth, innovation, and sustainable development within the community.

The event brought together key stakeholders, business experts, cooperative societies, and community leaders to share valuable insights on business innovation, entrepreneurship, investment opportunities, and strategies for building a more prosperous future.

Among the dignitaries present were the Executive Chairman of Borgu Local Government, the Majidadin Borgu, representatives of End-Well, cooperative representatives, and other distinguished guests who contributed meaningfully to discussions on community development and economic empowerment.

Hon Abdullahi Mohammed Nasir host HMS for Agriculture and Food Security, INEC Officials and Stakeholders in Borgu Local Government Council Chamber.

The Executive Chairman of Borgu Local Government Council today hosted the Honourable Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, officials of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), party leaders, and stakeholders across the local government area on voter registration and citizens’ mobilization.

The meeting focused on the importance of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise and the need for eligible citizens, especially youths and women, to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in order to actively participate in the democratic process.

Speaking during the engagement, the Council Chairman appreciated the Minister and INEC officials for their commitment toward strengthening democratic participation at the grassroots. He emphasized that voter registration remains a civic responsibility and called on traditional leaders, political stakeholders, community groups, and residents to intensify awareness and mobilization across all wards in Borgu Emirate.

In his remarks, Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi urged residents to take advantage of the exercise, stressing that every valid vote contributes to good governance and sustainable development. INEC officials also enlightened participants on registration procedures and the importance of accurate voter data.

The stakeholders unanimously pledged their support toward ensuring massive participation and successful voter registration throughout Borgu Local Government Area.

The National Body of the National Association of Borgu Emirate Students (NABES) today, 29th May, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Borgu Local Government.

The visit aimed at strengthening the relationship between the students’ body and the local government, with a focus on development, unity, and inclusiveness.

During the meeting, the Chairman advised students to avoid using social media to manipulate, ridicule, or discredit others, noting that such actions could have negative long-term consequences in the future.

He also emphasized the importance of active participation in the democratic process by encouraging students to mobilize for voter registration and responsibly exercise their voting rights in the forthcoming elections.

BORGU LG COUNCIL CHAIRMAN OBSERVED EID PRAYER AT THE NEW BUSSA CENTRAL EID GROUND.

Muslims gathered at the New Bussa Central Eid ground to observe the Eid al-Adha prayer in an atmosphere filled with peace, unity, and devotion to Allah SWT. The spiritual gathering reflected the beauty of Islam, as worshippers raised their hands in prayers, gratitude, and remembrance of Allah on this sacred day.

Wednesday morning rose a beautiful reminder of who we are, one community bound by faith, hope and humanity. Hon. Nasir was honored to stand alongside Sen. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi CON (Baraden Borgu) Hon. Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Alh. Ibrahim Musa Goni (Kogunan Borgu) Conserator General Park, HRH Barr. MS Dantoro, Mai Borgu and thousands of faithful this morning at the New Bussa Central Eid group to observed the Eid prayer in an atmosphere filled with peace, reflection, brotherhood and hearts came together in gratitude.

Eid is a call to remember those in need, to open our doors to one another and to strengthen the spirit of unity that defines our people. May Allah (SWT) accept our duas , bless our families, our nations and guide our communities toward peace and prosperity.

Sallah Eve Night Session at Gbemusu Palace.

The Executive Chairman of Borgu Local Government Council, Hon. Abdullahi Mohammed Nasir (Lambus), who is also the Sarkin Samarin Borgu Kingdom, attended the Sallah Eve Night Session held at the Palace of the Mai Borgu.

The gathering brought together dignitaries, traditional title holders, and members of the community in celebration of the blessed Eid season, while promoting unity, peace, and cultural heritage within the Borgu Kingdom.

A THANK YOU VISIT TO HIS EXCELLENCY, FARMER UMARU MOHAMMED BAGO.

Political Stakeholders from Borgu Emirate, led by the Honourable Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Dr. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, paid a thank-you visit to His Excellency, Farmer Umaru Mohammed Bago to appreciate his role and support towards the successful emergence of the APC consensus candidates for the Borgu/Agwara State House of Assembly aspirations.

The delegation, under the leadership of the Honourable Minister, expressed their gratitude to the Governor for his commitment to unity, fairness, and inclusiveness throughout the party’s consultation and consensus-building process.

The visit also served as an appreciation of Governor Bago’s efforts in ensuring peaceful, transparent, and all-inclusive party primaries across Niger State, which further strengthened harmony and understanding among party stakeholders.
