PRRSS RELEASE: 'NASARAWA FIRST '
The Gadanga Campaign Organization (GCO) hereby rejoice and wish our esteem supporters a blessed and joyous Eid-el- Adha! Allah maimaita mana cikin koshin lafiya, aamiin.
We would like to use this auspicious moment to inform and educate our numerous friends, supporters, and admirers about the recent political development that happened shortly after the release of election guidelines by the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC).
Banking on the quantum of your support and encouraged by your unalloyed love for our aspirant- Arc. Aliyu U. Suleiman(Gadanga), and after due consultations with our dear critical associates and political leaders, we mobilized to purchase the forms for the contest. We were at the point of obtaining the statutory forms when news filtered in from 'above' concerning such move. We received a passionate appeal by our number one citizen of the state and leader of our dear Party- the indefatigable, pragmatic, charismatic, amiable Governor HE Engr. A. A. Sule, the Engineer of modern Nasarawa State, a humble and humane persona exceeding all expectations. He appeal that we- Nasarawa District- tamper justice with mercy and shelve our legitimate aspiration for Udege District. The original arrangement is encapsulated in a mutually agreed Chairmanship rotational zoning arrangements which has successfully completed one circle; Nasarawa-Loko-Udege, ending with the last occupant of the coveted seat from Udege District. The circle is to restart from Nasarawa which informed the decision of our aspirant- Arc. Aliyu U. Suleiman (Gadanga) to participate.
The appeal was based on considered political exigencies in respect of unbalanced political equation in terms of positions among the 3 Districts of the Local Government of which Nasarawa is super-saturated with political positions both elective and appointive at state and federal levels.
After careful study of His Excellence's wise counsel, our aspirant like others decided, with difficulty at the risk of betraying the trust and confidence you repose in him, to suspend his aspiration and step aside in the interest equity and justice and overall development and peaceful coexistence of our dear Local Government and the state at large. Our amiable aspirant has no personal interest but the interest of Nasarawa- NASARAWA FIRST!
Please note that this development is taken in good faith without any iota of hard feelings. The resolve of aspirant towards the betterment of Nasarawa LGA is not daunted but rather energized. He shall rededicate his energy and fondly continue in that noble direction to touch and better the condition of his folks through his cherished and modest Foundation- GADANGA DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES. Please bear with us as such is the Will of Allah because our prayer has been 'mafi alkhairi Allah Ya tabbatar mana'.
