NASARAWA STATE BUREAU FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT CONTINUE WITH INSPECTION OF SITES PROPOSED FOR ROADS CONSTRUCTION AND UPGRADE

In continuation of the inspection of roads proposed for construction and upgrade, Nasarawa State Bureau For Rural Development has inspected Wamba-Wayo-Arikya road.

The inspection like the previous one was to assess the distance and the topographical nature of the road.

Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman, North Central Governors’ Forum, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule attended the opening ceremony of the 13th Delegates Conference of the Forum of State Independent Electoral Commissions of Nigeria (FOSIECON) holding in Jos, Plateau State.

The theme of the conference is “ Local Government Elections in Nigeria; Issues, Challenges and Opportunities”.

Governor Sule was the Special Guest of Honour at the event.

GOV SULE, STAKEHOLDERS TEST LAFIA FLYOVER AND UNDERPASS AHEAD OF COMMISSIONING

As part of preparations for the official commissioning of the Lafia Flyover and Underpass, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, led a team of distinguished stakeholders on a test drive of the project.

Joining the Governor were former Governors of Nasarawa State, serving members of the National Assembly, and other prominent leaders, all of whom commended the quality and scope of the infrastructure.

The Governor expressed satisfaction with the progress and reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering people-centered projects that improve daily life for citizens. The Lafia Flyover and Underpass is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion, improve road safety, and boost economic activity in the state capital.

The commissioning ceremony is scheduled to take place in the coming days.

DG, BUREAU FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT CONTINUE WITH VISITATION OF PROJECT SITES ACROSS THE STATE.

The Director General, Nasarawa State Bureau For Rural Development, Engr. Muhammed Sidi Sani has continued with visitation of project sites across the state.

His point of call was Agwada-Odege-Mbeki road construction project site where the contractor and his workers were met on side while the work was ongoing.

The DG while interacting with the contractor have appreciated the level of commitment and quality of job done so far but has pointed out some grey areas which includes; strengthening of some bends along the road, leveling of heals and reinforcement of iron works.

The DG has further directed the project consultant to conduct sample test of the materials used by the construction company to ensure strict adherence to the project specifications for materials and quality.

Away from Odege-Mbeki, the DG and his team went on to inspect the Kafin-Shanu - Taka-Lafiya road construction work but sadly the contractor was not met on site. The DG has expressed dissatisfaction with the way the project is being handled despite huge commitment from the state government.

He however warned that necessary action will be taken against any contractor who fails to execute any rural road project awarded to them.

The 12.4KM and 12KM roads, if completed will stimulate food security and boost agricultural activities, thereby bring government closer to the people.

The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule received in his office, the leadership and Committee Members of the Maiden NBS, NTA and FRCN joint Ramadan Lecture on a courtesy visit.

The group was led by the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nasarawa Broadcasting Service, NBS Malam Awwalu Salihu.

The Ramadan Lecture Committee was at the Government House to formally brief and invite the Governor to attend the lecture as Special Guest of Honour at the event.

I’m still in awe of your kindness and generosity, Dr. Aliyu Bello. Last December, I visited my family here in Lafia when my wife woke me up early in the morning, saying she needed to talk to me. I was a bit apprehensive (thinking I have committed) but she revealed that it was about her boss - you!

She pulled out a form from her office bag, and to my surprise, it was an invitation for a spiritual journey to Jerusalem! What struck me most was that this gesture came from a father who doesn’t share the same faith as us. Your selflessness and open-mindedness truly touched our hearts in ways we cannot explain.

Today, I’m overjoyed to share that my wife has successfully completed her spiritual journey and returned home safely. We’re forever grateful for your kindness and generosity. Your actions have shown us that there are still Angel in human form in this world who genuinely care for others without minding where they come from nor the faith they profess. ‘Humanity’ is your language and faith.

Please, accept our heartfelt gratitude for this once in a lifetime opportunity. May God bless and multiply your sources and may doors of favours and bigger responsibilities continually locate you and yours.

The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule was at Ministry of Information Culture and Tourism where he officially commissioned the Remodeled Nasarawa State Government Printing Press.

The facility has Pre-press computer to plate CTP section, Press off-set printing section, Post-press binding and finishing section, Pre-press graphics section, Press-flex section, Quality control section, Press direct image DI section and Gazette/white paper section.
