AMINU LADAN APPOINTED DEPUTY STATE COORDINATOR OF CITY BOY MOVEMENT, NIGER STATE:

The City Boy Movement, Niger State Chapter, has appointed the former Chairman of Chanchaga Local Government, Rt. Hon. Aminu Ladan, as the Deputy State Coordinator of the movement.

The appointment, which takes effect immediately, is in recognition of Rt. Hon. Aminu Ladan’s vast leadership experience, commitment to public service, and outstanding contributions to grassroots mobilization and development across Niger State.

His tenure as Chairman of Chanchaga Local Government remains a proof to his capacity for effective leadership and people oriented governance.

In his new role, Rt. Hon. Aminu Ladan is expected to support the State Coordinator in coordinating the activities of the City Boy Movement across the state, contribute to strategic planning and mobilization efforts, and work closely with state, local government, and ward structures to strengthen unity and participation within the movement.

Aminu Ladan earlier today joined thousands of supporters and well-wishers from across Niger State at the 10,000-man solidarity walk organized in support of the state’s able and hardworking Farmer Governor. The event, organized by the group known as Bago Zabin Mu, served as a powerful demonstration of unity, loyalty, and steadfast support for the present administration.

Speaking through his presence and participation, Hon. Aminu Ladan commended the organizers for their commitment to peaceful mobilization and civic engagement. A TRIBUTE TO HON. AMINU YAKUBU LADAN, A LEGACY OF SERVICE, COURAGE AND LASTING IMPACT IN CHANCHAGA:

On this day, we honour and celebrate Hon. Aminu Yakubu Ladan, the former Council Chairman of Chanchaga local government, a leader whose service, sacrifices, and commitment to the people remain unforgettable.

Hon. Aminu Yakubu Ladan served with vision, courage, and an uncommon sense of responsibility. During his tenure, he stood firmly against insecurity, confronting challenges head on and prioritising the safety of lives and property across Chanchaga. He understood that no development is possible without peace, and he worked tirelessly to ensure stability within the council.

His leadership was deeply people-centred. He consistently championed women empowerment, creating avenues for women to be economically active, socially relevant, and confidently involved in community development. He believed that when women are empowered, families and communities grow stronger.

Hon. Aminu Ladan also showed compassion for the less privileged. He supported indigent families in Chanchaga LGA by assisting with tuition fees, ensuring that children from vulnerable backgrounds were not denied access to education. This act alone changed many destinies and restored hope to numerous households.

In terms of infrastructure and development, his record speaks loudly. He facilitated the rehabilitation of many dilapidated boreholes. His focus was always on lasting impact, not temporary praise.

Rt. Hon. Aminu Ladan has called on the people of Niger State to remain steadfast in prayers and stay united in complementing the efforts of the administration of farmer Governor Umar Muhammad Bago, who is taking every necessary step to ensure the safe rescue of the Papiri children.

He emphasized that this is not a time for criticism, arguments or condemnation. Rather, it is a time for unity and collective support. Regardless of political affiliation, whether PDP or ADC, everyone must come together to confront the current challenge facing us.

He reminded citizens that insecurity does not affect only one political party. Anyone who thinks it targets only the APC is deceiving themselves. This crisis affects every citizen.

Therefore, he urged all Nigerlites, despite political or personal differences, to unite, support the government with prayers and all necessary contributions, and stand together until this insecurity and the abduction of the Papiri children are brought to an end.

CHANCHAGA COUNCIL CHAIRMAN PROCURES NEW STEPDOWN TRANSFORMER FOR HIMMA/BRIGHTER COMMUNITY IN MINNA:

In a bid to improve the living standards of residents, the executive Chairman of Chanchaga Local Government Council, RT. Hon. Aminu Yakubu Ladan, has taken significant steps to enhance the power infrastructure in Himma/Brighter Community situated in the heart of Minna.

Furthermore, upon receiving a request by the same community to repair a spoilt transformer which cost a total of three hundred and ten thousand Naira, the Chanchaga Council Chairman demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of the people by generously footing the bills for the repair.

According to Hon. Ladan, the procurement of the new transformer and the repair of the spoilt one are expected to significantly improve the quality of life for residents in order to enhance economic development, and improve overall community safety.

Residents however have expressed gratitude to the Council chairman for demonstrating his commitment to addressing the needs of the community and promoting development in the area.

COUNCILLORSHIP APC STANDARD FLAG BEARERS PAY COURTESY VISIT TO CHANCHAGA COUNCIL CHAIRMAN IN HIS OFFICE:

The executive Chairman of Chanchaga Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Aminu Yakubu Ladan has bestowed his blessings upon the APC standard flag bearers for Ward councilorship aspirants, assuring them of victory at the November polls.

Hon. Ladan made the disclosure when he received a delegation of the APC councillorship Flag bearers on a courtesy visit in his office today led by Hon. Ibrahim Gomna, who is currently serving as the Majority Leader in the legislative chamber.

The Chanchaga 001 however used the opportunity to congratulate the Councillorship Candidates on their victory as consensus candidates. He tasked them on proactive and qualitative representation.

He further urged party members in the council to work towards the party’s victory at the polls, stating that Chanchaga has been an APC stronghold with consistent electoral victories since 2015, and expressed no doubt that they would emerge victorious in November.

During the visit, the delegation discussed key issues affecting the local government area and explored ways to enhance service delivery to the people for a harmonious working relationship.
