The SMEDAN-Sterling Partnership is aimed at providing affordable and accessible loans at single digit interest rate with no collateral whatsoever. The Following are the key things you need to know before you can access the funding, with maximum of 2,500,000 naira and minimum of 250,000 naira.

1 - You need to download the Banca by Sterling app on either Google play store or Apple Store.
2 - You will need to provide your basic information details so as to generate a "Promoter ID" which is unique to you.
3- You will be required to fill in your account details if you have a Sterling Account, if you don't you will be expected to open one.
4 - You are expected to upload your CAC registration on the portal to ensure you have a registered business. It must have been in existence for over a year.
5 - You will be expected to provide your BVN that authenticate you have a valid account with Sterling and other banks.
6 - You will be expected to upload you Tax Identification Number on the portal.
7 - You will be expected to answer questions related to your business, your finance needs and current turn over.
8 - The facility is not for those who are into healthcare, schools, petrol station, haulage and fireams production.
9 - The duration for repayment is 12 months at 9% but admin and insurances charges (3.5%) will be collected when the funds is disbursed.
10 - You do not need to pay for application fee or pay consultancy fee to anyone to apply.

As participants in this program, businesses will gain access to a pool of talented individuals at no cost, while UNDP will provide stipends to these talents for 12 months, along with additional support for their integration into the workforce.
