Welcome to Benue Lever.
Benue Lever for now is an online platform for diverse politics and cultures poised to engage discussions/debates of candidates for political offices as a centrepiece of their elections.

To date, more than 60 countries and 800 states have developed a debate/discussion tradition. We are at the initialization stage in Benue State.

Behind this global trend is the conviction that discussions/debates benefit democracies in many ways, including helping voters make an informed choice at the ballot box; encouraging candidates to focus on public policy issues rather than personality, region, religion or ethnic loyalties; reducing the potential for violence by promoting civil discuss; holding elected officials accountable to their campaign promises once in office.

This avenue can also help all candidates get their message out in places where one political force dominates the media environment. This is a level play ground for all.
