The Executive Chairman of Nganzai LGA, Engr. Muhammad Mallamgana Badu, Flags Off Distribution of Agricultural Inputs to Boost Food Production

In a renewed effort to enhance agricultural productivity and improve the livelihoods of farmers across Nganzai Local Government Area, the Executive Chairman of Nganzai LGA, Engr. Muhammad Mallamgana Badu, today officially flagged off the distribution of agricultural inputs to farmers across the local government.

The flag-off ceremony was attended by the District Head of Nganzai, Engr. Babashehu Abubakar Garbai, all councillors of the local government, the APC Chairman of Nganzai LGA, Hon. Bukar Modu Badu, party stakeholders, community leaders, and other government officials.

The agricultural support package distributed to beneficiaries included high-yielding bean seeds, fertilizer, knapsack sprayers, and improved bean seeds, all aimed at increasing crop yields, promoting modern farming practices, and strengthening food security throughout the local government.

Speaking during the event, Engr. Muhammad Mallamgana Badu reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to supporting farmers, whom he described as the backbone of the local economy. He emphasized that investing in agriculture remains one of the most effective ways to combat poverty, create employment opportunities, and ensure sustainable economic growth.

The Chairman urged beneficiaries to make proper use of the farm inputs for their intended purpose, stressing that the initiative is designed to improve agricultural output and uplift the standard of living of farming communities across the twelve wards of Nganzai LGA.

The Executive Chairman of Nganzai Local Government Area, Engr. Muhammad Mallamgana Badu, alongside his entourage, convened a meeting with Islamic scholars (Ulamas) in Gajiram as part of his continued efforts to promote peace, unity, and stability across the local government.

The gathering, which was attended by the Chief Imam of Gajiram and other respected Islamic scholars from different communities within the local government, provided an opportunity for the Chairman to engage the religious leaders on the importance of collective prayers and community support in overcoming the prevailing security challenges facing the area.

The Executive Chairman of Nganzai Local Government Area, Engr. Muhammad Mallamgana Badu, today paid a working visit to Gajiram alongside members of his entourage, where he reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the health, well-being, and security of the people of Nganzai.

As part of the visit, the Chairman donated a substantial quantity of essential medicines to the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Centre, Gajiram, to strengthen healthcare service delivery and ensure the availability of vital medical supplies for patients, especially women and children.

In continuation of the visit, Engr. Muhammad Mallamgana Badu convened a meeting with respected Islamic scholars (Ulama) at the Gajiram Central Mosque. The Executive Chairman of Nganzai Local Government Area, Engr. Muhammad Mallamgana Badu, on Friday led a high-powered delegation comprising councillors, traditional leaders, and political stakeholders on a condolence visit to the Assistant District Head (Wakil Babagana Kachalla) following the passing of his beloved sister.

The delegation included the Honourable Member representing the area in the House of Representatives, Engr. Bukar Talba, councillors from various wards, district head, community leaders, and other government officials. During the visit, the Chairman expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family, praying Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased, grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the family the strength and patience to bear the irreparable loss.

Speaking during the condolence visit, Engr. Muhammad Mallamgana Badu emphasized the importance of unity, compassion, and standing together during moments of grief. The delegation, which comprised political leaders, party stalwarts, community representatives, and other key stakeholders from Nganzai LGA, visited the APC gubernatorial candidate to formally congratulate him on his emergence as the party’s flag bearer and to reaffirm the unwavering support and loyalty of the people of Nganzai towards the APC and its leadership.

UPDATE NGANZAI LGA:

The Executive Chairman of Nganzai Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Muhammad Malam Gana Badu, successfully conducted the APC Presidential Primary Election in Nganzai LGA. The exercise was peaceful, transparent, and well-coordinated.

The delegation of the Local Government was led by the Member representing Marte, Monguno, and Nganzai Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Bukar Talba, while Hajja Zara Muhammad headed the State Primary Election Committee.

At the end of the exercise, the APC Presidential Aspirant, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, recorded a total of 10,960 votes, while Stanley Osifo scored zero votes.

The successful conduct of the primary election reflects the unity, commitment, and strength of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nganzai Local Government Area.
