These threats are wiping out nature’s clean-up crew, leaving our environment and health at risk.

It’s crucial that we work together, support conservation efforts, and safeguard their future, because protecting vultures means protecting our ecosystems too.

12th of October 2024 marks the second peak day of ! This year’s campaign draws attention to the interdependence between birds and insects and aims to increase awareness about the threats they both face.

Understanding this connection helps to illustrate how crucial insects are for the survival of migratory birds such as the Amur Falcon, which migrates more than 30 000 kilometers each year, and undertakes one of the longest known migrations of any bird of prey 🦅
