Chairman-Elect of Bama Local Government, Hon Babagana Barma Bagados, Revalidates His APC Membership

In a resounding demonstration of commitment and leadership, the Chairman-Elect of Bama Local Government, Hon. Babagana Barma (Bagados), has officially revalidated his membership with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Acting in accordance with the directive of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Engr. Babagana Umara Zulum, FNSE, Hon. Babagana Barma undertook this important civic duty at his home base in Dar-Jamal Ward.

In his remarks, the Chairman-Elect stated: “This act underscores the foundational principle that our collective strength begins with individual participation. The ongoing e-membership registration exercise is a pivotal moment for our party a chance to refresh our ranks, solidify our data, and empower every member's voice.”

The exercise is now actively taking place across all 14 wards of Bama Local Government.

Therefore, Hon Babagana Barma Bagados issued a heartfelt and motivational call to the esteemed and progressive people of Bama LGA:

“Our community's future is built on active participation. The APC is our vehicle for development, and your registered membership is your ticket to shape its direction. Let us follow the example of our leaders and ensure our collective voice is strong, current, and counted. Visit your respective ward registration center today. Revalidate your membership card. This is more than an administrative task it is an investment in the continued progress and representation of Bama.”

Yesterday, the chairmanship candidate of Bama Local Government Council, Hon Babagana Barma Bagados , and Hon Babagana Isa Ferobe (Soja), joined the party leader to receive the decampise from PDP to APC. In their welcome address, the party chairman Hon Babakura Alh. Bukar (Sisco)and party secretary Zanna Ali Lawan, called on the newly decamped members, saying they are now full members of APC and urged them to maintain their unity and experience in the party.

Abba Kyari, leader of the decampise, said they decamped from PDP to APC because of HE Prof Babagana Zulum's support for Bama Local Government and Borno State. They're ready to support this administration. Other members include state youth leader, Bama LG youth leader, women leader, Asst women leader, ward chairmen, and ward exco's.

Zonal Chairman Alhaji Babakura Habib thanked them for a wise decision, assuring they're now full APC members.

A Milestone for Bama: Hon Babagana Barma Bagados (Bagados) Affirmed as APC Chairmanship Flagbearer.

The people of Bama Local Government, Borno State, witnessed a historic moment as the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary election committee, led by the Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Sugun Mai Mele, alongside Hon. Saina Buba (Youth and Support), Hajiya Fati Kakena (State Women Leader), and Hon. Baban Doki (State Youth Leader) and other State party executives successfully conducted the councillorship primary elections in Bama and Banki. The culmination of this exercise. Hon. Babagana Barma (Bagados) was affirmed as the APC flagbearer for Chairman of Bama Local Government.

This achievement reflects the trust and hope the people of Bama place in a leader who embodies dedication, vision, and service. With Hon. Babagana Barma at the helm, Bama’s path to recovery, security, and progress is clearer than ever.
