🕊️ INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE | 21 SEPTEMBER

Peace, Unity and Progress

On the International Day of Peace, the Gamboru Millionaires Quarters Youth Initiative Cooperative Society Ltd. (GMQYICSL) joins communities around the world in reaffirming the importance of peace, unity, security, and sustainable development.

Peace is the foundation upon which prosperous communities are built. It creates an environment where young people can access opportunities, develop their skills, pursue sustainable livelihoods, participate meaningfully in community affairs, and contribute positively to the development of society.

As an organisation committed to Peace, Unity and Progress, we remain dedicated to promoting community development, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, employment opportunities, social welfare, and collective action. We believe that when communities stand together in unity and work toward common goals, they can build a safer, more self-reliant, inclusive, and prosperous future.

On this important day, we encourage every member of our community—especially young people—to become ambassadors of peace, respect one another, embrace dialogue, reject violence, and contribute to positive change.

Let us build peace today, strengthen unity, empower our youth, and create lasting progress for generations to come.

🕊️ Peace, Unity and Progress — Our Collective Responsibility.

DANDAL KURA RADIO INTERNATIONAL ENGAGES GAMBORU MILLIONAIRES QUARTERS YOUTH INITIATIVE

We were pleased to welcome Dandal Kura Radio International to Gamboru Millionaires Quarters, where the media team engaged members of the Gamboru Millionaires Quarters Youth Initiative Cooperative Society Ltd in an insightful interview on the importance and benefits of democracy.

During the engagement, we shared our perspectives on how democratic governance can promote citizen participation, accountability, peaceful coexistence, youth empowerment, inclusion, and access to government programmes and development opportunities.

As a community-based youth initiative, we also highlighted key areas where our community can benefit from effective democratic governance, including infrastructure development, skills acquisition and empowerment programmes, employment opportunities, improved social services, and meaningful youth participation in decision-making and community development.

We sincerely appreciate Dandal Kura Radio International for providing our community with a valuable platform to express our experiences, concerns, aspirations, and contributions to community development.

We remain committed to constructive engagement with government, development partners, media organisations, and other stakeholders towards building a peaceful, united, inclusive, and prosperous Gamboru Millionaires Quarters.
