Hon Umar Mohammed visit Mega Farm project in Ngala..........

As part of the efforts towards supporting and sustaining the operation back to farm of Governor Zulum's efforts to boost food security in the state.

The Executive Chairman of Ngala Local Government Hon Umar Mohammed went to supervise the ongoing Mega farm project being sponsored by His Excellency the Borno State Governor Prof Babagana Umara Zulum here in Ngala Local Government.

while supervising the project, the chairman went round to see the level of the project and expressed their gratitude for the effort of the Engineer, Eng Jugudum Ali and his team for their job Weldon.

However, Hon Umar Mohammed emphasized the importance and useful of the ongoing project and bumper harvest is to cushion and eradicate poverty in the Area. He assured that 50 hectares of farmland prepared for planting in Gamboru pump house for rice farming and Ladari for maize farming. The Chairman also ensure by engaging the members of the community to the farming project to boost agricultural production in Ngala Local Government to eradicate hardship in the area and the state at large.

Finally Hon Umar Mohammed advised the farmers, youths, and the female gender to give more priority for the farming activities and more will benefit from this project of His Excellency Prof Babagana Umara Zulum the Executive Governor of Borno state.

Hon Umar Mohammed donated Essential Security needs to Ngala CJTF and Hunters.......

In his effort to improve social and other security challenges across Ngala Local Government Areas, the Executive Chairman of Ngala local government actively ascertained some of the challenges of the CJTF and Hunters during their patrol.

Speaking in the event, the Chairman charged them to shun personal use and lackadaisical of the materials given them. He also charged them to firmly be on duty as enshrined actively in their duty roster.

While receiving the items, the overall Chairman of the CJTF Tijjanima Alh Umar, thank the chairman for coming to their aid at the right time. And he assured that all they will abide the rules and regulations governed the organization to ensure that nothing harms will affect the entire local government.

The Chairman has handed over and presented the security apparatus comprises of VHF Botein Radio for easy communication, Torch Lights, and Rain boots.

On Wednesday 03/July/2024, the executive Chairman of Ngala Local Government Hon Umar Mohammed along side with the Education Secretary Local Education Authority Ngala Babagana Modu, went for monitoring and supervision of the distributed instructional materials extended to Gamboru Ndjemena primary school, Wulgo central primary school and Gamboru central primary school respectively.

During his visit, the Executive Chairman delighted the importance of modern Education, and appreciate the effort of the Education Secretary, teachers, and the entire staff for their courage and commitment in educating the children to be leaders of tomorrow.

He stated that education is the first priority of the present administration of His Excellency Prof Babagana Umara Zulum mni and also it's the 3 cardinal set goals of his administration.

Hon Umar Mohammed also said that his council is always eager and willing to assist to further the children education concentrate with their studies, more effort commitment and determination.

While Speaking, the Education Secretary local education Authority Ngala, Babagana Modu appreciate the Chairman's visit and effort's to his commitment and willing to assist the school for further children education.

Finally, the Chairman tested the children's performance on education and commended the results is an excellent.

Dignitaries accompanied the chairman are the legislative council members and Local Government Hierarchy officers.

*LAUNCHING OF Unicef DRUGS and VOCATIONAL TRAINING MATERIALS* .........

Borno State Primary Health Care Development Board (BOSPHCDB) In partnership with UNICEF under the MINA project has donated drugs and other consumables worth millions of Naira to Ngala Local Government primary health care Department.

The donation was received by the Executive Chairman of Ngala local Government Hon Umar Mohammed from the Unicef official in person of Yusuf Gadzama and Melody Max in the presence of the LGA PHC staff and other health facility managers.

While taking over, The Chairman also thanked his Excellency Prof Babagana Umara Zulum mni, the Executive Governor of Borno State for his tireless efforts unflinching support toward restoring peace across the state,

Moreover, the Chairman also promised that his council is always committed to provide basic needs especially on medical services, and committed in identifying gabs in health sector through partnership with state government and other international Non Governmental organizations related the issues by providing support.

Hon Umar Mohammed charged all facility managers and and other health personnel to be transparent and trustworthy in discharging their responsibilities accordingly, warning that any one found wanting dealt with accordingly.

while speaking, the clinic incharge Dr Babagana Abatcha and ward incharge Nasiru M Iliya, thanked the Chairman for receiving the drugs and assured him the personnel are committed to serve better.

Hon Umar Mohammed accompanied by the clinic incharge inspected to see how their services rendering, visited patients on bed, sympathize them and supported with a little amount to ease their hardship and pray for their speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, Hon Umar Mohammed also launched the Distribution of UNDP training package to female beneficiaries in Ngala Local Government, for selected and trained skilled at the vocational training center Ngala.

The item which includes Desktop computer, tie and dye / women saloon materials being provided by UNDP in collaboration with Borno State Government to cushion hardship and eradicate poverty among the society.

The Chairman urged the beneficiaries to make use of the distributed items as the state Governor Prof Babagana Umara Zulum directed. He warned them not to sell unless for their own livelihood activity.

The exercise taken place at the Government load 2 in Gamboru facilitated by Ngala Local Government vocational Coordinator Alhaji Mustapha Ngala.

In attendance, the Legislative council members, NLG Head of departments, ward executive, women among others.

Highpoint of the occasion is the handing over of the drugs to the chairman and launching of the vocational training items.

As part of the efforts towards supporting and sustaining the operation back to farm of Governor Zulum efforts to boost food security.

The executive Chairman of Ngala Local Government Hon Umar Mohammed has launched the newly brand tructors (FARMTRAC 60).

The newly tractors FARMTRAC was donated by His Excellency the Borno State Governor Prof Babagana Umara Zulum to revival of farming activities that suffered set back due to the insurgency.

while launching the tructors, Hon Umar Mohammed stated that, Farming was one of livelihoods among the inhabitants of Ngala local government before the advent of boko haram insurgency.

The Chairman also charged stakeholders to come up with strategies that will allow farmers to go back to farmlands for enhance socio-economic and revival of farming activities that suffered set back due to the insurgency.

While assuring them, the government is doing everything possible to safe guard lives and properties of its citizens and He implored them to be law abiding citizen.

The Chairman also spelled out the guidelines on how to engage in farming activities to avoid security breaches in the local government.

In his Address, the director of Agric Ngala Local Government Babagana Bulama Mai stated that, is a momentum day over decade of bringing the tractors to Ngala Local Government by the Chairman.

Babagana Bulama Mai added that, this tractors supplied is to ease the hardship in farming production. And tractor is an imported Agricultural production by reducing labour, time and eradicate w**d and ridge within a short period of time.

The director of Agric also advised the tractor operators to obey the rules of handling the tractors to increase lifespan by checking proper use of engine oil, fuel and observation before starting the engine.

people of Gamboru community are experiencing flooding challenges every year due to blockages of drainages across the town.

The Executive Chairman of Ngala Local Government Hon Umar Mohammed had on assessment today Sunday the 30th of June 2024.

During the assessment, Hon Umar Mohammed went round all the drainages where the rain water ways passing through to the main canal.

Hon Umar Mohammed found that this challenges was caused by some of the community members by blocking for their own interest and business activity, he warned and gave an ultimatum of a short period of time to vacate their belongings, and given directives to the director of works for urgent solutions. He also assured to the community that the work of evacuation the drainages will soon be started.

Hon Umar Mohammed also delegated the community leaders to monitor who so ever dumb their refuse in to the drainages may face the law. Because the main challenges of this flooding of rainy season is the dumping of refuse into the drainage.

The assessment exercise in attendance are, the director of works Eng Baba Aji Bura and other works department staff, the legislative council members, members of the community and Admin staff of Ngala Local Government.

*CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE FAMILIES OF BOMB BLAST VICTIMS*

The Executive Chairman of Ngala Local Government Hon Umar Mohammed who was accompanied by the Member BOHA Ngala constituency Hon Alhaji Bukar Abatcha, the APC party Chairman Ngala Babagana Umara kodobe, the former Ngala Local Government Chairman Hon Mala Tijjani (MTN), the Commanding Officer 3 Battalion NA Military Base Ngala Lt Col Akinsowon, the Divisional police officer Gamboru Ngala Police command Adaji Collins, the Legislative council and APC youth leader Alhaji Bukar kellumi, as well as the management staff of Ngala Local Government council.

Had paid a condolence visit over the demised of the brave Heroes CJTFs of Ngala who's loss their lives as a result of stepping Improvised Explosive Device on their way to Maiduguri with 001 Hilux overall's vehicle.

Where the vehicle stepped an IED trapped suspected to be planted by the Arm Opposition Group (Boko Haram) along Dikwa Maula axis just some few kilometers to Dikwa by the western. The incident occurred at about 1240hrs of Saturday 27th/04/2024,

Reportedly, the victims loss their lives includes 5 members of CJTF, 1 Hunter and 3 civilians. While 2 other sustained fattal injury.

Ngala Local Government Chairman, the Member BOHA Ngala and the entourage shows their sympathy to the families of the deceased and let them accept it as a destiny and cannot be change at all. Their dead shocked everyone in the society and a great loss to entire Ngala Local Government and beyond they added. They pray to Almighty Allah may their souls rest in peace and grant them Jannatul Firdausi, and the family Fortnite to bear the irreparable loss.

Among those who attended the funeral yesterday are the former recent transition committee chairman Hon Abdulrahman Abdulkarim, the former Member BOHA Ngala Hon Bukar Mustapha Dalatu, the former religious affairs commissioner Alhaji Abatcha Umar Bukar among others.

*Launching of Drugs and water assessment in Logumane Town*

In his gain-stride towards reviving back the lost glory of the state, after the Executive Governor of Borno state His Excellency, Prof Babagana Umara Zulum resettled back Logumane Community to their ancestral homes on dated 21st January. 2024.

Today being the 24th of April 2024, the Executive Chairman of Ngala Local Government Hon Umar Mohammed has launched a drugs worse million of amount provided by the Local Government to the newly constructed Health center in Logumane.

Speaking at the event, Hon Umar Mohammed urged the clinic incharge to discharge their duties accordingly, and the local government will do any possible support whenever need arises.

While receiving the drugs, Logumane clinic incharge Dr Mohammed Karim (Lancaster), emphasized the importance of health care in a society and thank the Chairman and the state Governor for supporting with health facilities to Logumane community, he further assured that the personnel deployed will work tirelessly 24hour services.

In another development, The Executive Chairman accompanied by the Logumane Military Base incharge Lt Akani, also visited and inspect water facility in Logumane where there is a scarcity of portable drinking water people are seriously suffering.

Hon Umar Mohammed directed works department of the council to assess and find solution for the course. He also visited Chad Basin free plow borehole and similarly given directive to the department concern for networking to the main town of Logumane with immediate effect.

The chairman's entourage includes, members of legislative council and the management staff of Ngala Local Government.

As raining season is approaching around the corner, and this year's farming activities is about to commence, A consultative security meeting was held in Ngala Local Government.

The meeting was cheered by the commanding officer 3 battalion NA Ngala at the 3 battalion officers mess.

Farming was one of livehoods among the inhabitants of Ngala local government before the advent of boko haram insurgency.

Addressing the meeting, The executive Chairman of Ngala Local Government Hon Umar Mohammed charged stakeholders to come up with strategies that will allow farmers to go back to farmlands for enhance socio-economic and revival of farming activities that suffered set back due to the insurgency.

While assuring them government is doing everything possible to safe guard lives and properties of its citizens. The chairman also implored the people of Ngala to be law abiding citizens

In his response, the commanding officer 3 battalion NA military Base Ngala Lt col Akinsowon spelled out the guidelines on how to engage in farming activities to avoid security breaches in the local government

Community leaders in attendance expressed their support and willingness to maintain peace and security in the local government as a whole.

Equally issues of herdsmen destroying Farm products during irrigation and harvesting period was presented and passionate appeal was made to the council for proactive measures to avoid ugly incident.

In Attendance during the consultative security meeting includes, the Divisional police officer and other security agencies, the 3 District heads Ngala, Gamboru and Wulgo reps and other traditional and community leaders, officials of the local government among others.

The Executive Chairman of Ngala Local Government Hon Muhammed Umar, attended the Flagging Off of OBR 2 and OPV 2 April round at Gamboru Ward B" Bakin Kasuwa Lawan Emma Resident in Ngala Local Government.

In his remarks, the executive chairman commended the relentless efforts of the health personnel in making sure Ngala local government is free from all forms of health facilities and immunization against 11 killer diseases and also the care givers to coorporate with the personnel.

The Chairman maintained that the government of Borno State under the leadership of Prof Babagana Umara Zulum, is not only more determined to ensure complete eradication of polio in the State but already taking proactive measures to ensure that the menace never recurs in the state.

In his welcome address, Alhaji Modu Bulama the LGA Health educator, emphasized the importance of the vaccine against the child killer disease. He urged the community to comply and take their children for routine immunization inother to prevent from the child killer diseases. Make sure their children have been immunized he added.

Speaking at the event, the LGA facilitator Alhaji Tahir Adam, thank the chairman and his entourage for being part of the flagging off. And hopefully the LG chairman will be available on every exercise as well as the evening review meeting.

Implored Mothers, Childcare Givers, Traditional Rulers and Leaders across Ngala Local Government to take full advantage of the polio to get all children immunized and ensure the safety of the children from polio and other dangerous diseases but preventable diseases.

The Executive Chairman Ngala Local Government Hon Mohammed Umar, has flag-off the distribution of Ramadan gestures to party machineries and other less vulnerables of Ngala Local Government. The Ramadan package which donated by the state government under the able leadership of His Excellency professor Babagana Umara Zulum mni FNSE GCON.

The gesture which contained bags of rice and sugar to ease the plight of the less vulnerables once during this period of Ramadan in Ngala Local Government.

In his address, Hon Mohammed Umar shows his unflinching gratitude to the workaholic Borno state Governor, His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum as marked 2024/1445 Ramadan season palliatives. It has became a tradition which the government giving out annually as part of his effort in reducing the hardship faced by the less privileged especially during this period of Ramadan fasting.

Hon Umar Mohammed speaks loudly that this years quantity is different from the other years, all this is to ease the hardship facing by the people in the state. And urged the ward Chairmen to make sure that everyone benefited in this gesture.

Therefore, he called on all to pray for the governor and for lasting peace and harmony in the state as a whole.

In his vote of thanks, the APC party Chairman of Ngala Local Government, Alhaji Babagana Umara Kodobe, thanked and appreciate the State Government and the local government Chairman, other critical stakeholders, for standing firm for their people at all times.

Meanwhile, the ward Chairmen led by Wakil Bukar Shehuri, used this opportunity to congratulate His Excellency prof Babagana Umara Zulum for his tireless effort and put smile on his people face. He prayed may Allah SWT uplift him from his seat to the high rank in the next.

As part of the efforts towards supporting and sustaining the operation back to farm of Governor Zulum's efforts to boost food security in the state,

The executive chairman of Ngala Local Government Hon Umar Mohammed received a delegation from the State government and victims support fund to flag off the distribution of dry season farming items being supported by the Victims support fund.

In his welcome address, the chairman charged his people to make use of the items properly and warned them not to sell. Hon Umar Mohammed thanked his Excellency Prof Babagana Umara Zulum for his effort to see that people have returned back to farming, and expressed his gratitude to victim support fund management and staff for their job Weldon.

Speaking at the event, Hon commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Engr Bawu Musami who represented the state governor Prof Zulum, accompanied the team of Victims Support Fund led by the Executive Director of VSF Prof Nana Tanko,
Expressed his profound gratitude to the victims support fund for the support towards promoting farming activities in the state. There was a proposed ongoing irrigation project and bumper harvest in Ngala which was located in various communities comprises of Gamboru pump house, Ladari village, Nuwari and Wulgo irrigation sites respectively.

He urged the farmers to make sure they used the items provided and not to sell. He further said that a monitoring team has been assigned to supervise and make sure that the items used properly.

While speaking, The executive director of Victims Support Fund Prof Nana Tanko, highlighted the event and mentioned that when they visited Gamboru Ngala in 2015 is just like a mod town, but today she really appreciate to see that a huge number of people are making their daily activities in peace in Gamboru Ngala, that shows that peace have returned back.

She also said, this program has been implemented in 2 different locations izge in Gwoza LGA and Gamboru Ngala in Ngala Local Government Area. She urged the the beneficiaries to boost food security as his Excellency always trying his best to see that people will not complain for food security in the state.

Speaking On behalf of the farmers, Sale Goni Muhammad and Aisha Abdullahi, thank Victims Support Fund and Prof Babagana Umara Zulum for items provided and they promised to used the items properly as Said. They assured that one day will become a history Insha Allah.

In attendance, The security personnel, The LG legislative council, the traditional rulers, the directors of various departments in Ngala Local Government and farmers among others.

Highlight of the event is the Handing over and flagging off the distribution of the items.
