Educated, skillfully intelligent youth of this great state are countless, it will be a self imposed taboo if we sit with our both hands in-between our legs while the survival of our state is choked to stupor by some greedy politicians with no plan for improving the state,,

For a decade and half plus more, kogi state economic strategy got consistently coordinated like a political restaurant where every body only come and eat,. Eating up the future of survival security of the citizen.

We shall rest our tent soon with the candidate of our choice that we deeply feel can pilot the affairs of this state from this twisted end to a dream land for a better life for all, we shall all do that together because only together we can

Its rather too unfortunate that so far in the history of kogi state , person(s) as the case may be, charged with the responsibility of exclusive control of the State's resources had never been upto the task of harnessing it effectively for the benefit of the citizens?

Kogi State is blessed in all ramifications but we just need one man (or woman)who can steer the ship of state in the right direction. All we have had are just one illiterate or some semi-illiterates running the affairs of the State so far.

Is it not a shame that in a State that can boast of a huge number of intellectuals, the best governors we have ever had in the area of performance are those clouded by blind sides of skills of governance....
The politics in line of ethnicity or religion have only earned us the kogites a lopsided or in some cases non existing development,and this have scored the survival of it citizenry zero in the phase of human efforts toward personal or domestic economy stability.
Its changing time and together we can.

In recent time Kogi state government made a loud pronouncement on the ground of slashing the workers salary by 40%; the question is this state sopos to be poor? Certainly not.
Kogi state should not have this enormous human and natural resources and will still be amongst the poorest states in the country.
Ajaokuta steel company and the iron ore mining projects are just enough to catapult this state into the international spheres of progressive front, not to even talk of the fact that the state links 8 major states interchangeably along side F.C.T ,invariably the state should be a bee hive of sound economic activities.
But too sad the successive government looks at their mandates as a gift to squander, lost in the vision of truth and reality that the progress of the state should be of paramount focus irrespective of religious , ethnic or political cleavages
At this highly degraded state the state have goten to, any one with a comitted focus for the rebirth and reconstruction of the state will and should be our utmost priority,irrespective of his ethnic and religious background. Kogi is ours and together we can.

Kogi state have been too unfortunate to be consistently cuddled by bad leadership, scoring it from the era of democracy in the country, every governor that have led the mantle of the leadership of the state are to a high degree ideologically bankrupt
The emptiness in their visions about the basic developmental strategies to accelerate the basic needs of the state is what has made this human and natural resources endowed state a spectator in growth or development amongst it contemporaries in the country.
Enough is surely enough , it is time for a change in the political ideology of the state, because the religious and ethnic political ideology of the state tends to almost driving the state into extinction.

Hustling actively in the game of throne with a full scale focus on attaining an absolute power irrespective of how many human lives are crushed in the process,DONE is the only suitable word that appease their thirst for a quick grasp of the seat of power
The above is the most suitable description of the kogi state political actors/leaders.
Perhaps you wouldn't be for from the truth if you say the reckless way at wich the attain the powers could be traceable to the reason why they lead recklessly without value for the essence of governance or constitutional provision.
The logical slavery they groomed by loosely discharging of brown envelopes (cash) to the people to procure their unwilling heart and votes certainly has come to a halt because the change has come. In this change period men are accountable for their official deeds and certainly no over hyping of voting processes and procedures
It is said that no pain no gain, we the kogite have felt the pain and its certainly time for our gain. All hands must be on deck because together we can.

The unprotected in*******se in the political romance between kogi state political actors and ethnicity/corupt practices was what gave birth to the pronounced visible hardship bedeviling the state till today,where agony of lack is a way of life.
The kogites deserve a state where the leaders leads with the conciousness of the the survival of it citizenry,, not rulers hiding under the canopy of democratic dispensation serving as a conduit pipe for syphoning public treasury.
We want a state where our children don't have to die of curable illneses because proper attention is not given to our clinics.
We want a state where our mothers don't need to treck for 10kilometres just to access portable drinking water.
We want a state where basic electrification structures are put in place to atract or encourage both local and international investors.
Super certainly ethnic and religious sentimentality can not in any way give us any of the above, we want a political scenario where people with vission and mission irespective of their religious and ethnic background are given opotunity to access the mantle of leadership.
Kogi is certainly too big for few individuals hijacking and dictating the survival of the entire populace.
Its just time for that political tsunami, if nigeria as a whole did it , kogi certainly can.

The nigeria political system have suffered a pronounced decay over the years,but the dimension differs as it varies from state to state as they add their plus and minus of their domestic political twists to attain an end point
Bad leadership ochestrated by Ethnic and religious sentimentality has been the bane of equitable development wich eventually opened a flood gate of an untold hardship in the life of the inhabitants of the state, A state that perfectly discribe the above illustration is KOGI STATE
Kogi state was created august 27 1991 and it will shock you to know that Enugu,Edo,Delta, Abia,Osun,Adamawa,Taraba,yobe and kebbi state were also created in same period of time,here the state have found it self at the basement of societal ladder of inequality all thanks to either ethnic or religious sentimentality.
Without any twist of faith it is high time the youth of kogi quit standing akimbo acting like spectator in their own very affair. It is indeed that very time where we take our destiny in our hands, by demanding for a true democracy where the constitutional provison is the altimate, instead of allowin the few power hijacking individuals mortgaging our destiny..
