Kogi State APC Youth Leader Salutes Muslim Faithful on the Commencement of Ramadan, Urges Prayers for the State and Nation.

The Kogi State APC Youth Leader, Hon. Mohammed U. Mohammed, warmly felicitates with Muslim Ummah across Kogi State and Nigeria on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan is a sacred period of fasting, reflection, sacrifice, and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah. It is a season that teaches discipline, compassion, unity, and selflessness values that are greatly needed in our society today.

Hon. Mohammed U Mohammed urges all Muslim faithful to dedicate this holy period to sincere fasting, fervent prayers, and acts of charity. He specifically calls on the Ummah to pray for lasting peace, unity, and sustainable development in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

He emphasized the need for Muslims to use this blessed month to seek divine guidance for our leaders at all levels, and to pray for stability, economic growth, and progress for our dear state under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The Youth Leader Hon Mohammed also encouraged the youth to uphold the virtues of patience, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence throughout and beyond the Ramadan period.

“As we fast and pray, let us remember that Ramadan is not only about abstaining from food and drink, but about purifying our hearts, strengthening our faith, and promoting unity among ourselves,” he stated.
He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a spiritually fulfilling and rewarding Ramadan.

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, Praised Security Agencies For Combating Insecurity

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has commended the leadership of the Joint Security Team for their efforts in curbing insecurity in the state. During a meeting with security heads, Ododo praised the gallantry and professionalism of the security agencies, noting that their efforts are gradually freeing Kogi from the grip of criminals.

The Governor met with the GOC 2 Division, Commandant of the 12 Brigade, Commissioner of Police, Director of DSS, and Commandant of NSCDC, among others. He assured them of his administration's commitment to providing the necessary resources to keep the people of Kogi safe.

The meeting, which was also an appreciation event, featured testimonies from rescued victims of kidnapping and a display of items recovered from kidnappers. The Air Force was also commended for its strong aerial presence in the state.

"Kogi will continue to take the right steps to rid the state of criminal elements," Ododo affirmed, reiterating his commitment to the security of the state.

The Governor's leadership has been marked by a strong focus on security, and his efforts are yielding results. With the support of the security agencies, Kogi State is becoming a safer place for residents and investors alike.
