APC MUST LISTEN: ETI-OSA CONSTITUENCY I SPEAKS

EKO UPDATES REPORTING

Concern is growing within the APC family in Eti-Osa Constituency I as apex, local and ward leaders continue to insist on standing firmly behind their preferred leader, with the message: “NO NOHEEM, NO VOTE.”

The growing division should be a serious concern for the APC leadership. Elections are won at the grassroots, and ignoring the concerns of ward and local leaders could weaken the party’s chances in 2027.

The APC leadership must act swiftly, listen to its members, resolve the grievances and restore unity before the situation becomes politically costly.

The people are speaking. The leadership must listen.

JUSTICE BEFORE RECONCILIATION: ETI-OSA APC LEADERS INSIST ON RESPECT FOR THE PEOPLE’S MANDATE

The Elders, Leaders, Stakeholders, Local Government Party Chairmen, Ward Chairmen, and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Eti-Osa Constituency I reaffirm our unwavering position that there can be no reconciliation without justice.

Our position was formally communicated in our letter of 26th June 2026 to the State Chairman of the APC and copied to key leaders of our party and government. We remain resolute that genuine reconciliation can only follow the restoration of justice and respect for the democratic will of party members.

The APC House of Assembly primary election in Eti-Osa Constituency I produced a clear and overwhelming mandate. Hon. Noheem Babatunde Adams secured 7,638 votes, while his closest challenger received 1,225 votes. This decisive victory reflected the confidence and support of APC members across the constituency.

The overwhelming mandate freely given by party members must not be ignored or undermined. Respect for internal democracy is fundamental to the unity, credibility, and electoral strength of our great party.

We therefore call on the leadership of the APC to uphold the integrity of the primary election by respecting the clearly expressed will of party members and restoring the mandate freely bestowed on Hon. Noheem Babatunde Adams.

Our position remains firm and unequivocal:

No Justice. No Reconciliation.

The People’s Mandate Must Be Respected.

Signed:
Elders, Leaders and Stakeholders
All Progressives Congress (APC)
Eti-Osa Constituency I
