*OVERVIEW OF NASS NATIONAL CONFERENCE*

NASS is an acronym of Nigerian Association of Science Students. The Association came to birth as direct result of harmonizing students studying Science related Courses in all Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria. The Association is affiliated to many professional bodies which include Science Association of Nigeria (SAN).

The Association was established with the major aim of creating enabling learning scene for science students in Nigeria, protecting the interest and welfare of her members by creating a platform for effective interaction amongst her members that is Academic, theoretical and the practical techniques. It is apathy one of the most populous students Association in Nigeria with over 20million active members nationwide.

*THE CONFERENCE IN BRIEF*

The National Conference is aimed at achieving the following:

1. Insuring that budding scientists understands the need for cutting-edge researches that leads to national development.

2. Educate participants on becoming solution oriented in the relative course of study.

3. Encouraging networking through interactive session with practicing scientists and budding scientists.

4. Revitalize the Science and Technology sector of the nation.

5. To make science related courses a leading practical hub for national development.

Theme of the Conference is: *Eradicating Science and Technology Challenges: A process for National Development and Sustainable Economy*

The Conference wil harmonize students across all Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria (more than 50 Institutions).

The National Conference will harmonize Dignitaries to discuss on the theme and other sub-topics in are line with different walks of Science specialization
