Be God fearing in character
Understand what true love entails
Make yourself an asset instead of liability
Be ready to give your spouse the best of you
Being ready to accept your spouse wholeheartedly even in difficult times
Make injunctions of God's word and godly marriage principles your standard of decisions and actions
Be ready to adjust your mindset to become compatible with your spouse
Be ready to accommodate your spouse offenses with the spirit of forgiveness
And a lot more things that will make your spouse adore you

Marriage is a serious covenant and commitment, don't go into it casually or unprepared so you don't run out as causality
