The scholarship

Belinda ran all the way from the café to her grandma's shop to break the news about her scholarship to her.

"Grandma! Grandma!! Grandma!!!" She screamed happily entering the shop.

"Belinda dear, what is it?" Her grandma asked her almost in fear.

"I got the scholarship!" She yelled

"Oh my, keep your voice low girl, people are listening with wide ears." Her grandma cautioned.

"Which school and what course?"

"My dream school. Great Winston University l, am going to study Mass Communication. Am going to be a journalist... I will be seen on the TV by everyone and you know what grandma?"

"What?" Her grandmother asks

"I won't quit being the most famous ballerina in New York." Belinda replies dreamingly.

"You better stop dreaming girl and try to do something useful." Her grandmother yells

Belinda frowns as she picked up an apple and advertise. Her grandmother owns no cool shop, they are mere street vendors.

My name is Belinda, am eighteen years old and I live with my sixty seven years old Grandma in Brownsville a neighborhood in Eastern New York.
Life in Brownsville could be really tough, lots of criminal and illegal acts takes place here. Majority of we living here are low income earners.

Despite the struggles, am aiming to be someone. Someone known and cherished by the world. I want to be educated and busy with something and am happy about my scholarship as well, it is a dream come true.

Speaking about my parents, my mom passed away after my birth and my dad? He is a rich man, living a luxurious life somewhere I do not know. My grandmother refused to give me details about him. But I will find him one day and ask him why he had abandoned me and my mom.

Tomorrow I will be visiting my school to submit all necessary documents so I can proceed with my registration. Isn't that cool?

The young girl is strained and tired, she pushes one more time with her left energy.

"Oh my she has given birth oh thank God" the matron rejoiced.

Suddenly the oldest matron gasps and screams in horror. "We are loosing her. Pass the oxygen, we must not loose her." The matron ordered.

The nurses begin to run helter scatter. They tried their best to save the young lady, but all their efforts turned abortive. The young lady died leaving her young baby girl behind in the care of her mother.

This is the story of Belinda, a young ballerina. Aspiring to be the big talk of New York city.

The poor girl had loosed her mother after childbirth and left in the care of her widowed grandmother. Who was not only old but financially incapable.

After her years of struggling in p***c schools, she finally got a scholarship to study in the biggest university in the city. But then, it turns out that her biggest rival at school is her stepsister.

Whitney Archer is just a first year Psychiatric doctor. She's poor, humble, crazy and a debtor.

She has live in debt all her life but everything change for her when she meet Rose Graham.

Mother to Logan Graham who is a rich handsome bachelor, he's the typical male crush and every girl's dream but he's someone who is suffering from Philophobia.
