ICSAN Strengthens Academic-Professional Collaboration with Precious Cornerstone University Through Linkage Programme
In a strategic move to advance professional education and strengthen the bridge between academia and industry, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) has initiated collaborative discussions with Precious Cornerstone University under its Linkage Programme.
On Tuesday, 17 June 2026, a delegation from ICSAN, led by Mrs. Uto Ukpanah, FCIS, President and Chairman of the Governing Council, visited Precious Cornerstone University to explore areas of collaboration aimed at enhancing academic and professional development.
The engagement focused on integrating ICSAN’s professional qualification into the University’s academic curriculum, thereby creating structured pathways for students to qualify as Chartered Secretaries and Administrators while pursuing their academic studies.
The Linkage Programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice, enhance graduate employability, and deepen knowledge in corporate governance, compliance, and strategic administration within tertiary institutions.
Both institutions expressed strong commitment to finalising the Linkage Agreement, with plans to commence the partnership in the 2026/2027 academic session.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in developing future-ready professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation required to drive excellence in governance and administration. It further reinforces ICSAN’s commitment to expanding access to professional education and nurturing the next generation of governance professionals in Nigeria.
