PCRC AREA G COMMAND HOLDS FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH AT ISOKOKO DIVISION

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Area G Command, Ogba, in collaboration with Isokoko Division, today, Tuesday, 27th October, 2026, successfully held its Divisional Free Medical Outreach for Divisional Police Officers, PCRC members and members of the host community at Isokoko Police Station.

The outreach is part of the PCRC Area G Command's community welfare initiative aimed at promoting the health and well-being of Police Officers and strengthening Police-Community partnership through humanitarian service.

The programme recorded an impressive turnout, with beneficiaries receiving free medical checks, health consultations, medications and sensitization on healthy living.

PCRC AREA G COMMAND TAKES DIVISIONAL FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH PROGRAMME TO IJAIYE OJOKORO DIVISION

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Area G Command, Lagos State, has extended its Divisional Free Medical Outreach Programme for Police Officers, PCRC members and community members to the Ijaiye Ojokoro Division.

The historic outreach programme, held at Ijaiye Ojokoro Division, was organized in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the PCRC Ijaiye Ojokoro Division.

The programme recorded a large turnout of police officers, PCRC members and residents of the community who benefited from free medical consultations, check-ups and health education.

In attendance were the Chairman, PCRC Area G Command, Jude Ndoh (Esq.), the Coordinator, Area G Command Welfare Committee, Mrs. Martha Nwankwo, the DPO of Ijaiye Ojokoro Division CSP. Aiyenomuro Mobolji, the Chairman, PCRC Ijaiye Ojokoro Division, Alhaji W. A. Akilo, members of his executive committee, Divisional Police Officers and other stakeholders.

Speaking at the event, the Area G Command Chairman, Jude Ndoh, Esq., reaffirmed the commitment of the PCRC to promoting the welfare and well-being of police officers and strengthening police-community relations through impactful health interventions. He commended the Lagos State Ministry of Health for its partnership and the Ijaiye Ojokoro Division for hosting the programme.

The PCRC Area G Command Free Medical Outreach Programme is part of its ongoing welfare initiative aimed at improving the health and productivity of police personnel while fostering trust and collaboration between the police and the community it serves.

The Committee appreciates all partners, volunteers, health workers and community leaders who made the outreach a huge success and assures the public of more divisional outreaches across Area G Command.

PCRC AREA G COMMAND CONCLUDES 5TH BIENNIAL CONFERENCE & WEEK WITH AWARDS, INDUCTION AND GUEST LECTURES

Ogba, Lagos – 30th June 2026 – The Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC Area G Command, Ogba, today concluded its 5th Biennial Conference & Week 2026 with a Grand Conference, Awards Presentation, and Induction Ceremony.

The event was attended by distinguished dignitaries including the Area Commander, Area G Command, ACP Veronica Ameh-Akpa, psc; PCRC Lagos State Chairman, Apostle Kehinde A. Showemimo; Representative of the Oba of Aguda Kingdom, High Chief Dr. Dapo Banjo; Baale of Ishara Kingdom, Baale Adebisi Osindeinde; Chief Imam of Area G Command Central Mosque, members of the PCRC State Executive; PCRC Area G Command Executive; 9 DPOs of all the Divisions under Area G Command and representatives of partner security agencies including NSCDC, LASTMA, NDLEA etc.

Highlights of the Day:

1. Induction & Special Recognition: PCRC State Chairman, Apostle Kehinde A. Showemimo, was formally inducted as a Patron of PCRC Area G Command in recognition of his fatherly support and commitment to the Command. The ceremony was also graced by Comrade Sylvanus Onuoha, President, NAPPMED Lagos State Chapter, and his Executive, who presented an Award of Exemplary Leadership to Apostle Showemimo.

2. Awards Presentation: The Area Commander, ACP Veronica Ameh-Akpa, psc, received an Award of Excellence in Community Policing and Leadership. Appreciation Awards were also presented to LASTMA, NDLEA, NSCDC, Dr. Alao Eric, and other key stakeholders for their invaluable support and discussion during the Conference & Week.

3. Division Awards: Iju Division emerged as the Overall Best Division in Area G Command, while Alakuko Division was adjudged the 2nd Overall Best Division in recognition of their outstanding participation and performance throughout the Conference activities.

4. Guest Lectures: The Area Commander, ACP Veronica Ameh-Akpa, psc, and PCRC State Chairman, Apostle Kehinde A. Showemimo, served as Guest Lecturers for the day. They delivered insightful papers on security, community partnership, and strategies for crime prevention.

Speaking at the event, PCRC Area G Command Chairman, Jude Ndoh (Esq.), expressed deep appreciation to all dignitaries, partner agencies, Command Executives, Police officers, Direct Members, Divisions, Committees, and members for making the week-long activities a resounding success. He noted that the Conference, themed “Strengthening Community Policing for Safer Communities”, reaffirmed PCRC’s commitment to sustaining peace, unity, and collaboration across Area G Command.

The 5th Biennial Conference & Week held from 23rd – 30th June 2026 and featured Road Walks, Agric Empowerment, Medical Outreach, Jumat & Thanksgiving Services, Environmental Sanitation, and Community Sensitization programs.
