At the official distribution of materials to BESDA learning centres/UBEC Instructional materials and the commissioning of the 2019 UBEC/SUBEB Intervention Project at Shadawanka Primary School, Army Barracks, Bauchi.
Involved in the project is the construction and renovation of 864 blocks of classrooms which translated into 2413 classes across the twenty Local Government Areas of the state.
As a reward for the outstanding performance of Bauchi state in the 2017/2018 and 2019 intervention projects, particularly in the payment of the counterpart fund, UBEC Abuja has forwarded to the state's Basic Education Board, the state's 2020 and 2021 Federal statutory allocation of UBEB matching grant to the tune of N1,661,720,779.60.
I wish to record my Government's profound appreciation to the Executive Secretary of UBEC and his management for a mutually rewarding relationship whose footprints will remain in the chronicle of educational development in Bauchi state.
