It was an emotion laden Saturday when Evolving women in politics, (EWIP) a politically motivated organization took it upon herself to visit the physically challenged as a show of love to Humanity.
The visitation was greeted with so much appreciation from the children of the Modupe Cole School for Children with disabilities.
Some of the members were moved to tears as they couldn't stand the challenges the children are facing.
The vision carrier of such laudable institution deserves to be idolised like the likes of Jesus, prophet Muhammed and other deities we adorn with so much love, honour and respect because she practiced Humanity which is greater than religion.
According to information gathered from one of the school's coordinators, Mr. Kazeem, said there are over four hundred and fifty children living with various forms of disability in the school.
Those of the children who are unable to cope with academic works have been placed in skills acquisition classes.
Modupe Cole School of Children living with disability is now being managed by Lagos State government after the demise of the founder.
Mr. Kazeem stressed that there is need for the government to do more in supporting the center, noting that the support from organisations like EWIP the center would have been overwhelmed.
Kazeem further stressed the need for parents of children with disability to show them love, care and affection as they didn't choose their condition.
The members of EWIP present at the visitation contributed a token amount in appreciation to the workers.
In attendance at the visitation were; Dr. Raliat Anako Abdulsalam, Vice president; Mrs. Paris Ado Sanusi, coordinator; Olori Ronke Erinle treasurer; Taiye Akinpelu, PRO; Madam Jummy, USA coordinator; and other members of EWiP!
It was indeed a memorable Visitation.
The high point of the visitation was the donation of gift items, some used clothes and a token of cash support to the workers in appreciation of their efforts in taking care of the children living at the center.
